Walle is an amazing guide. We were told to meet at the pickup point at 4:30 and were picked up 4:35 so the timing was good. Bus was very comfortable and even gave us blankets. Breakfast was incredible, lunch was okay. The entire tour was an unforgettable experience but I wouldn’t recommend doing it until your body adjusts to the altitude if you are a beginner. We did take the horses up to the lake which helped a lot. I wouldn’t recommend doing recommend this tour to EVERYONE visiting Cusco especially with walle!
I recently did the Full Day Tour to Machu Picchu from Cusco and had an amazing time. Roy, our guide, was simply the best. He was extremely informative, friendly, and truly made the trip memorable. He took the time to explain the history of Machu Picchu and answered all of our questions.
Jose was a great and knowledgeable guide who took his time to take us to four sites, patiently explained history and what we saw including some fun anecdotes. Sites as such were a lot of stone walls and wide spaces which have it a spiritual air almost like Stonehenge. Saw wild Alpakas and llamas as well, highly recommend!
Amazing! We drove for two hours on the ATV around the Sacred Valley. Our guide explained everything in detail, and we had a few minutes of practice before leaving the base. It was a safe and rewarding experience.
We really enjoyed this tour- a wonderful way to get to know Cusco and see some surrounding Incan ruins. Our guide Franklin was fabulous- very informative and friendly and a great photographer.
This trip was truly phenomenal. Jordi from "Fly Cusco Peru" did a great job. He hired the best guides. The trip ran like clockwork. I was picked up at my hotel in Cusco; driven all through the Sacred Valley on a guided tour; and then dropped at a train station in the valley (Ollantaytambo) just on time for a train to Aguas Calientes where i was greeted by another guide who walked me to my hotel. The next day i was once again picked up at my hotel and the process began again up to Machu Picchu and home to Cusco - one guide handing me off to the next. The guides were outstanding. In the Sacred Valley I had Carlos or "KIng Carlos" as i called him. He knew everyone everywhere we went - from security guards to street cleaners to the people selling trinkets. He greeted everyone with a hug and a smile and introduced me to all his friends. I didn't realize I had a private guide / private tour when i signed up! There were no other tourists with us. Carlos had great knowledge of the Inca history and gave thorough insights everywhere we went. Very informative. The next day i went to Machu Picchu with Juan "Jerry" Ernesto. He was also a wonderful guide. When i signed up for the tour with Trip Advisor / Fly Cusco the only options were for Circuit 1 or 3 to Machu Picchu. I had read online that Circuit 2 is the best. I could only blame myself though because i planned my whole trip to Peru a week in advance. Anyway, when i got to Aguas Calientes i went to the national tourism office and i was happily surprised when they had last-minute Circuit 2 tickets available. I already had a ticket for Circuit 1 the next day at 7:00 am so i bought a second ticket to Circuit 2 also for 7:00 am. When i met Jerry in the morning he was very happy and congratulatory re my move to buy the second ticket. He assured me Circuit 2 was far better (which it was) and he then had the great idea that he would take me on BOTH Circuits. So we started on Circuit 1 and went straight to the high lookout. We then came back down to the security checkpoint and showed them my ticket for Circuit 2. Circuit 2 was phenomenal and i lucked out with clear whether for February! Jerry took lots of photos with me and shared fascinating insights about Inca history. Half way through Circuit 2 there is an option to veer into Circuit 3. We took it. I ended up doing all 3 circuits in one day over the span of 3 hours. We walked, laughed and talked from 7:00 am until 10:30 am. Fly Cusco (the operator) was smart to have me scheduled for a 12:30 train that same day. I didn't feel that i needed to linger longer in AC and was happy to get back to Cusco by 4:30. Machu Picchu was outstanding and I can't hank Jordi, Jerry and King Carlos enough. It was hands down one of the best tours of my life! Thank you all! .... as an aside, i would recommend bringing a minimum of 100 Sols to tip each guide. These people are giving you one on one attention for 4 hours. Tipping less than that just wouldn't feel right and these guys deserve it. I would highly recommend this outstanding tour!!!
This was an awesome tour- very challenging but unforgettable! Our guide Nadya was fantastic. So knowledgeable and helpful. She made the experience easier to handle.Mario was a great driver. Truly enjoyed this experience!
Very well organised trek. Angel the guide was very informative and always positive throughout the trip. The red valley is optional after reaching the rainbow mountain, but definitely worth the 30sol entrance fee to visit
Marco was an excellent guide and we enjoyed every minute of our tour. Very informative, we highly recommend a private tour to get the most out of your experience. We were a group of 3 couples.
Fairly on time pick you from The hotel. Around 4:30 am. Breakfast after 2 hours. Then 1.5 hours more driving. Then 20 min ATV. From there you can right climb steep for 10-15 min to the highest view point or walk down 10 min to the lower view point. If you go during rainy season you may encounter fog and snow. Be aware. After 40 min you have to come all the way down. Almost 4 hours back to Cusco.
Alberto was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He shared fascinating stories about Incan history, monuments, and customs, combined with his own perspective living in Qosqo during changing times.
Great trip[. Ruben was informative and friendly. Both guides were very encouraging when things got tough. Beautiful scenery !! I am glad I did this. Would recommend.
