Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is something everyone who visits Cusco should include in their trip. Alvaro was a lot of fun and a fount of knowledge about Peruvian food. His passion for Peru and its food shone through, We all enjoyed making our own peso sours and a delicious 3 course lunch. Many thanks Alvaro

This was a super fun experience in Cusco. Our chocolate teacher was well educated on chocolate making and very funny. We also got to make a ton- like a TON- of personalized chocolate to take home with us. I would definitely recommend this experience.

We are so happy we did this tour. Starting with a tour of San Pedro market was an excellent way to get to understand the various items used in the class. The instructions given by Chef Jesus were excellent, his dishes were unique and we met some great people from around the world. The ceviche was like none other I've had, and I'd eaten it almost every day I was in Peru. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic time with Ronal during the market tour and the class. It's great learning to make some local dishes and hear more about Peruvian culture. Ronal is great at sharing his knowledge and background, you can see he really knows what he's talking about. Even if you are not used to cook very often, he'll make you feel confident to prepare the dish you choose and assist you so the outcome is perfect. I'd definitely do it again if I ever return to Cusco.

Really nice experience. We made a nice cocktail and tasty chocolate.
I forgot his name, but our teacher (guy with glasses, 27/02 at 6pm) did it really well!

Went here on Friday after a snow storm derailed our plans to hike to Rainbow Mountain. The Cusco Chocolate Workshop was amazing and accommodated my family and I last minute. The class was fun, well taught and the hot chocolate and chocolates we made were delicious! I would highly recommend this class if you have a free night in Cusco.

We had a wonderful time with our chef instructor Alejandro. There were only four of us in the class so it was a very intimate experience. He gave us a great background of Peruvian food and we enjoyed seeing the different products in the small sample market that they have. We enjoyed making lomo saltado and ceviche as well as two pisco drinks. We also had two additional appetizers prepared by the chef so we were very well fed! Go hungry!

We loved all of it. We were a small group and Christina, our chef, did a great job of teaching us not only the cooking, but the origin of each dish. Two dishes (ceviche et lomo saltado), but very elaborate recipe, which were delicious. Even included flames! Great experience.

This was the best cooking class I’ve ever taken! We did a private class, learned all about unique Peruvian ingredients and the influences from other cultures. Started with a fruit tasting, learned about perus unique potatoes, corn and peppers found at a market, made our own ceviche (this was the best ceviche we had, even compared to ones we had in Lima!). Then we did a pisco tasting and made Chilcanos and followed that with making our own alpaca lomo saltada with the most amazing flambé I’ve ever seen. This was professional level cooking! We finished by enjoying our meal and chilcanos in the beautiful courtyard. Christina our chef was amazing, so warm and friendly and knowledgeable! Christina sent us all the recipes and welcomed us to email her with any questions we have. Highly recommend this experience!! If you like cooking you will absolutely love it, and if you like food you will not be disappointed!!! Nice activity to mix in your itinerary with visiting all the ruins as well.
