Very informative class and tour of the market.
The instructor was amazing and I had the best meal I’ve had since my arrival in Peru one week earlier

After a week of eating delicious Peruvian food we decided it was time to learn how to make it. Could not have found a better class! Alvaro is an absolute gem. He truly loves what he does and sharing Peruvian cuisine with visitors. It’s amazing being in the kitchen with him and learning from watching an artist at work

We had a wonderful experience with Ronal. With most cooking classes you don’t get to go to the local market where the ingredients come from. This was a really wonderful addition to the class. The amount of preparation that we did was perfect. The two dishes and the pisco beverage, were so fun to prepare. The shop where Ronal had his business was well appointed and set up for the guests. Ronal was so engaging and informative about the dishes, adding interesting facts about their origin and the the Peruvian culture. Would definitely recommend!

Jesus did a fantastic job taking us around the market and then showing us how to prepare Peruvian dishes and pisco sours. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting Cusco.

Totally comprehensive small class at outdoor courtyard that covered everything from where the best beans are grown, how the Inca processed the beans, three different beverages we made and tasted as well as chocolate bars that we made. We’re able to sample different types of chocolate. The class was entertaining and enjoyable. Excellent English skills. There were little kids as well as adults in the class and everyone enjoyed. I highly recommend it.

Really nice experience. We made a nice cocktail and tasty chocolate.
I forgot his name, but our teacher (guy with glasses, 27/02 at 6pm) did it really well!

We had a wonderful time with our chef instructor Alejandro. There were only four of us in the class so it was a very intimate experience. He gave us a great background of Peruvian food and we enjoyed seeing the different products in the small sample market that they have. We enjoyed making lomo saltado and ceviche as well as two pisco drinks. We also had two additional appetizers prepared by the chef so we were very well fed! Go hungry!

This workshop was great fun! We made pralines and some chocolate medallions. The highlight for us was the hot chocolate, it was intense but so delicious! Luis was a great instructor, very friendly and knowledgeable. The view over San Blas was awesome too. We also appreciated the flexibility in being able to reschedule our workshop to another date due to illness. We would recommend this as a fun activity for all chocolate lovers!

Our family of four all enjoyed this adventure with our great chef, Jil. He took us through the authentic local market (in addition to San Pedro market). What a highlight to our trip - Jil’s fun demeanor, seeing and tasting new foods, having local interaction, preparing delicious food and Pisco Sours, and finishing with chocolate covered fresh strawberries we’d purchased at the market. A must do - and ask for Jil!

We met Jesus at the San Pedro market where we tried some exotic Peruvian fruits, chocolates, and cheeses. He gave us an introduction to the market and showed different types of potatoes, corns, and other vegetables. It was already so much fun and this was just the first part.

We then were supposed to walk to the studio but it started raining heavily. Jesus went above and beyond here and booked us a cab. We arrived to this beautiful studio with a nice cooking area already set up with the ingredients needed to get started. We started with a drink, Maracuya Sour, followed by Causa, Tamales, another drink (chicha punch), and ended with the Peruvian national dish, ceviche. During the entire cooking class, Jesus taught us cooking techniques, told us interesting stories from his past and answered all our questions. His assistant Lucy was always there replacing our used utensils and bowls with new utensils and next ingredients so that we were very efficient with our time and didn't feel rushed. In the end, there was also a dessert, Piccarones and chicha morada drink. I would advise going to this experience with an appetite because we literally had a four course meal.

Jesus is accommodating towards vegetarian and vegan variations and has things prepared if you let him know beforehand. It was a memorable experience for both me and my wife and we will enjoy making these dishes again and again.

Lots of fun...learned a ton about chocolate making!!! Our instructor Gabriel was fantastic, good English and great humor. We were a party of 18 and he managed to keep all of us engaged and working hard to make our own chocolate! If you have time, a free afternoon or morning...recommend this one! Chocolate tasted more bitter than we are use to but it was pure...no artificial sweeteners or additives!

This was a great experience! We happened to have had a private tasting which was nice. Our teacher was clearly passionate and knowledgeable about pisco! It was so interesting to learn. We got to try three kinds of pisco and then make two cocktails!

Chef Alejandro shared the history and evolution of Peruvian culinary arts. We learned about the local meats, veggies, grains, herbs, and their significant health benefits. We were served several samples of local fresh fruits and delicious appetizers made with local fare. He demonstrated, then coached us as we made both authentic ceviche (accommodating our individual food preferences) and limo saltado. We topped off our three hour class with him teaching us how to make several Peruvian Pisco drinks. Chef Alejandro was personable and knowledgeable with the skills of a high quality instructor. We left happy, smarter, and satisfied!
