Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I felt so welcomed by Melisa and Carmen. They did not pressure me at all to make a sale and that made me feel more comfortable choosing my sweater. I even left when I felt I needed a night to decide and they didn't make me feel bad at all. I returned the next day to buy it and look at more. They were so gracious and lovely and it was so nice to shop in this store because of them.
Highly recommend! Excellent selection and they make shopping fun 🌸🌼🌹

We visited a number of stores in Cusco to find the texture we wanted. The Centro de Textiles Tradicionales del Cusco was the best place to purchase high quality shawls, scarfs and textile products. The center serves as a clearinghouse for local textile makers and returns 70% of the profit to the artists. Each item you purchase comes with a certificate of authenticity and details on the artist. You can be guaranteed that the product you are purchasing is made of baby alpaca wool and not a fake substitute. While you might pay less at one of the other stores, the premium, if any, is worth the guarantee on quality and feeling that you are supporting local merchants.

The quality of the alpaca products was exceptional. We purchased two tapestries that are truly works of art. The service is fantastic, and we even met the artist who designed and made our tapestries.

We stumbled upon this family group of stores completely by accident on our last day in Cusco while we were searching for the famed 12 angles stone. I needed to use the bathroom and the young man running the front store guided us to the main store restroom. While the restroom was, in itself, a grateful find, the true treasure was the variety of tourist goods and fair prices. Many of the standard tourist items such a beanie caps, handbags, sweaters, baseball caps that we found on the street were also found here. Wallets, magnets, hair scrunchies, scarves, ponchos and more. And the prices printed on labels on the shelves! Like others have said, no need to haggle as these are already lower than any of the street hawkers. I’ll definitely recommend shopping here for those items before wasting time searching down all the other streets. Everywhere else I felt like they were making up the price just based on how I look and dress. Like a mark. But not here. Thank you!

This was my favorite store in Cusco!! Not only are all the products high quality and distinctly-inspired by popular Peruvian landmarks, but Fiorela - the owner of the store - was extremely helpful, warm, kind, and patient. She helped me try on several things, mix and match various items, and even offered to fix a hat I bought elsewhere. I purchased a cape inspired by Rainbow Mountain which was my special treat for myself, and I absolutely adore it and have been wearing it since. There is no shortage of souvenirs in Peru, but I highly recommend getting a nice, high quality piece from Fiorela's store as a special token of remembrance that will last for years to come. GO VISIT FIORELA'S STORE! You'll be so glad you did :D

Great experience learning about llamas, weaving and the Peruvian weaving culture. Extremely nice woven goods for purchase, though higher priced than markets. Overall quality of goods is top shelf 5*.

It is a wonderful place! You can feel the magic of nature so close to the city. I didn't know I could get there in a short time. Being able to see and touch the beautiful animals was such an incredible experience! I was also impressed by the beauty and colorful pieces of art and textiles. I will definitely take my family there, next time!

We didn't really try the chocolates but we had quite a few different ice creams upstairs in the coffee shop. They had some interesting flavors and the kids enjoyed the ice creams.

If you want to have truly one of a kind bespoke clothing with chic flair and amazing details go to HILO!
Once you are in the small workshop, you are lured in by the samples and racks of super unique clothing.
I had 3 shirts & a skirt made for me in 24 hours- great final product, amazing clothes- get lots of praise- I’m the envy of my village because of her clothes. Great pricing and abilities- I thinking of having more clothes made as she has great eye!

Tika Chocolates has the best chocolate you’ll find in Peru. I fell in love with their ingredients and had to bring some back to the US for my friends and family. It’s located close to the Plaza de Armas and has incredibly kind and multilingual staff.

In the narrow streets we stumbled upon this this hidden gem that serves high quality coffee at low prices. We had cappuccino and cafe latte (both very good!) and a vegan muffin with apple chia which was very tasty. The shop also sells a variety of products in quality alpaca wool. Very nice place!

Super cute Alpaca products. I didn’t expect I’d be finding such good things. And all handmade.

If you have the opportunity to check their website alpacatamon.pe you’ll see a lot of great products 😚

Will be getting some scarfs soon for my sons and friends.

So happy my sister and I made an effort to come back to Pedazo de Arte when it was open. We both really enjoyed this more unique souvenir shop. We had been to some of the other open souvenir markets in Cusco but felt that they were very overwhelming and most of the shops /stalls had the same exact items for sale. I would say that Pedazo de Arte has more of a variety of items, more artsy items, and handcrafted items. I highly recommend this store.
