    Review of: Full day tour / Colca Canyon
    Magnificent place!
    I did the full day colca canyon trek. This trip was organised by trek the colca. Our guide, David, was awesome, he shared a lot of knowledge about the local culture. Also, people in our group had very different pace in hiking, but David made the hike enjoyable for everybody, no matter the pace. I wouldn't say the hike in the full day tour is easy. It was a gorgeous day, stunning views, really enjoyed the silence in the canyon as well. We were lucky to see some condors.

    Review of: 2 day trek including transfer to Puno / Colca Canyon
    My experience in the Colca canyon
    This is my second time a visit the Colca and can compare it to the first visit. In general, it seems like the organization have improved, during the whole way everything looks pretty clean, there is even garbage boxes in the main spots, something didn’t exist some years ago. The vehicles doing the tours are much modern and mine was very clean as well. The quality of the food is definitely better than before and the guides are more prepared. I’m very happy things are changing for better in the Colca canyon and for Trek The Colca is a great option.

    Review of: 3 day 2 night trek / Colca Canyon
    A wonderful Tour!
    We were on a 3-day trek in the Colca Canyon. We highly recommend the 3 days tour, it's more relaxing than a 2 days tour. First day we hiked down to San Juan de Chuccho. The second day we went through the canyon to the Oasis Sangalle, where we had the whole afternoon free time to relax and swim. Third day, going up was the strongest part, but also for us - 67/62 year old couple - without problems. We were a great group and had a very nice and competent guide with James. Thank you very much James!

    Review of: 3-Day Custom Colca Canyon Trek from Arequipa
    The perfect experience
    We went on this trip not yet knowing what to expect, what this trip was amazing! Raoul is the best guide and he make you feel like real family. This trip went so much further than a regular trail. We created real friendship bonds and learned from each other’s cultures while experiencing beautiful nature. I will miss this experience so much and I recommend everybody to book a trail with ventura travel. Driver and families down the canyon were amazing. Please if you want to trek down the canyon instead 3am book your trip here they start at 7 am! Or else it won’t be the same. Amazing experience!

    Review of: Sillar Route in Arequipa and viewpoint of the Volcanoes
    Worth the ride
    On time pick up at the hostel. Very decent guide (our excursion was in spanish) talked at length about Arequipa and answered questions well. Sometimes guides sound too rehearsed and stumble when questioned, this was not the case. Sillar route is something to see and if you have a time constraint this is a good option. I would submit some pictures but Tripadvisor's wimpy website can only accept 5mp photos 😁

    Review of: 2 day 1 night trek / Colca Canyon
    Colca canyon 2 day trek
    Glad to say I visited this place in Arequipa Peru. Taking this tour was definitely worth it, since at the beginning we wanted to do it on ourselves, but after making this tour we realized that was not a good idea. Avoid the dangerous and take this well organized tour. Highly recommend!

    Review of: Salinas lake (National Reserve) PRIVATE TOUR
    A must see in Arequipa - especially to avoid the crowds
    My wife did some searches online in preparation for our honeymoon and it’s fair to say the day trip with Julio is beyond a pleasant surprise. Julio speaks perfect English (which is very helpful for us as non-Spanish speakers) and is extremely knowledgeable about the culture, social economic evolution, political landscape, football, food (and pretty much everything) of Peru - it is simply fascinating for a country blessed with diversity in all aspects. The trip was very well organised and very flexible and Julio was very considerate to slow down the pace if needed (for altitude sickness). The 4x4 was comfortable and ideal for the rugged road conditions and the picnic lunch prepared by Alejandro is also very lovely. As for the great scenery, wildlife and fauna, pictures will speak for itself. Munchas gracias to both of you xx

    Review of: Colca Canyon Trekking - 3 Days
    3 Day Colca Trek
    Wilmar was fantastic! He was responsive when booking and extremely knowledgeable on the trail answering our many questions. The trek was wonderfully arranged with great accommodations and food. You can't beat the views on this three day adventure. Would recommend!

    Review of: Full day tour including transfer to Puno / Colca Canyon
    Fantastic Full day tour!
    We will never forget this experience in Colca Canyon. This full day tour does not take you to the bottom but it does take you to beautiful places as the condor cross, Pampa Canahuas, the hot springs and some little towns, in the way back we saw lots of vicunas and huge volcanoes smoking. Beautiful it is not enough to describe that place. Thanks trek the colca.

    Great experiment. Carlos is really lovely, safe and very professional. We did two memorable slave days for a reasonable price. Everything is reassuring, the equipment and Carlos' professionalism who is always looking for security. Several levels are offered from beginner to expert. It's up to you.

    Review of: Fullday Colca Canyon tour from Arequipa
    Aweful Customer Service and don't seem to care for customers
    Do NOT book a trip/adventure through this company Viator. My sister and I traveled to Peru in January and booked a 3 day venture to Arequipa where we were going to take this tour through the Colca Canyon. Sadly, our flight was TURNED AROUND when we were about to land in Arequipa and our booking for this tour was the following morning. We attempted to reach-out to the company and explain what had happened but their numbers did not work nor would they reply to our emails. We wanted to push our booking to the following day as our flight was moved to the following day but there was no way to get in contact with this company. There customer support is AWEFUL and I was very disappointed with the way they handled our scenario. They reached out to us a few days after our booking (when we couldn't get our money back) and told us that the event was "Out of our hands" when the event was out of our hands as well as it was the weather that did not allow us to land safely in Arequipa.

    Nice climbing
    Nice place to climb. There are different routes to climb up this wall. Nicely in the shadow. They work with very safe equipment. For me as a beginner not all climbs were so easy, but it was a good experience! And the guides are very enthousiastic and speak good English.
