- Jayne T16 contributionsThe guided tour was really interesting. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and asked questions to make you think about what you were seeing. I had my 9 year old grandson with me and it kept his interest eventhough he has ADHD.
The founder chatted with us too & he was so enthusiastic & gave helpful tips about collecting rocks and gems to my grandson.
Geode smashing was great fun but very hard to do.
We had a great time & the museum shop has everything from pocket money sized gems to beautiful jewellery for the adults.

Enjoyable for the little ones < 8 to explore simple scientific matters eg how wind can blow things, how excavators work, etc.
