I really like art so was interested in visiting. The art was ok but the architect of the buildings is worthwhile. Also, there are some exhibits with historical documents which are interesting.

Well kept temple the best view is from the South Bridge Road. Which is on the same path as Sri Mari Temple. Best views are during the day

Amazing architecture that's well maintained. Its a vast area due to its narrow streets, goods and services here are in the expensive side due to its tourist image but worth the visit

We visited in May 2022 so I am not sure why TripAdvisor indicates this is closed. If It os open, it is worth a visit as it is very interesting about the history of contributors to Singapore growth and culture. Visit if you can do so.

Enjoyed the future World exhibit so much. Other exhibits showing weren’t really for kids. Wouldn’t recommend buying tickets online unless you actually know what you’re after. We went thinking we had access to lots of exhibits but the one we wanted wasn’t included. Staff were absolutely amazing & helping us to swap over to the family friendly one “Future world” which was fantastic! Airconditioned, not crazy busy & lots of interactive fun for children across many ages & adults too

Fabulous, the time-slider interactive maps are great, the overall city plan shows why singapore is singapore, the history and future plans are all well presented.

Walking through the front door we were stunned by what we saw as we looked around the open plan home. Alvin himself is a jewel, precious with knowledge, enthusiasm and hospitality. The depth of understanding he has allows every piece in the museum to come alive as he explains the stories behind them.

The building is situated in a noisy and bustling part of the Little India district in Singapore, but going in, the feel is very different as it is quiet, cool and relaxed.

Even for a local like myself, the exhibitions on the 3rd and 4th levels of the building about the Indian community in Singapore both past and present are refreshing as they relate the contributions made by this minority community as well as the rich experiences they came with when many of these ones migrated over to Singapore in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a slow and relaxed way of learning more about the Indian diaspora in this part of the world.

Although one floor is closed for a new display I still found this a worthwhile stop. To see so many toys in one place is just amazing.
A bar on the top floor is great for a cold drink.

It was a very creative museum. The location was very nice with the view straight to the bay. Inside, it was small museum showing new technology of the world, new creations of the world such as the sport suits, phones, smart stuff for the house, headphones, etc... It was very nice to walk around and to be able to touch things in the museum

Wanted to check out what seemed was a niche museum that could put music boxes from my childhood into context, but what I got was a very unique experience in the history of music, artisanal masters, beautiful music (from these 200 year old music boxes) and a passionate and very knowledgable guide who made me appreciate just how important music boxes where to the development of music being available to us all. If you are a music and instrument lover this is an experience for you!

There are many turtle or tortoise for you to interact with as a private museum. Got a few active tortoise walking around, but refuse to eat the vegetables we bought from the reception. The tortoise eat the grass on the ground instead, quite disappointed and wasted $2 to buy the vegetables. However, the turtle in the pond love the food. And much more fun and also a lot more that the tortoise. I recommend to buy the turtle food instead of vegetables.
Beware of the mud during rainy season, as you have to step on the mud to reach to the tortoise.
Overall experience is good, and also interesting to see a lot of turtle merchandise collection there. Kids love to feed the turtle and tortoise for sure.
