- Sarah CEast Kilbride, UK15 contributionsWe arranged a visit to the observation platform following a walk through gardens of the bay. Unfortunately we had just missed the light show. Tickets booked for 8.30pm arrived no queue and straight up in the lift . Timing was perfect as it was fairly quiet and we were able to walk around with no problem.
Managed to catch the later light show of gardens by the bay however the music did not travel and I do feel to get the best you need to be in the centre of it . It gives you a good overview of attractions and atmosphere and Singapore is no exception. The architecture of the city is amazing and sitting comfortably on the bus listening to the recorded travelogue is the easiest way to experience it. The only downside is that there are only two routes so you might not visit something that you personally want to see- the online maps will help you make that decision as well as where to catch the bus. - Laura D6 contributionsWe booked Marcus for a food tour during our visit to Singapore. Marcus met us at our hotel and was on time. He came prepared with every thing that we needed, a bottle of water each, bus and train tickets, tissues and wipes. We visited Haji Lane, little India and Chinatown. At each stop Marcus found our table and organised and delivered the food. As we transitioned between stops Marcus described landmarks and explained so much of Singapore’s history. He is so knowledgeable!

Unfortunately the roof bar is only open to residents of the hotel. It would have been nice to have lunch but guess you have to book separately. Maybe it’s different in the evening. No more than an hour if you are just looking for.
