Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- mrc282World9,576 contributionsdid the canopy walk plus spider web. you will be fitted with harness and helmet. the hike involves steep hike up jagged stone steps, suspension bridge, and a series of stairs made out of metal tubes. the return trip takes about 45-60 min.anybody can do it as long as no fear of heights.
the viewing deck at the end of canopy walk provide you a vantage view of the el nido bay
spider web is optional extra. this faces the el nido town
entrance fees are cheaper on klook than paying in person onsite
all in all, a somewhat pricey excursion but the view on a clear day is worth it.
this is also the official route. the unofficial route starts at 4/5/6 am for a sunrise hike, and involves climbing and scrambling with no harnessWritten 25 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. My sister and I went for the 3D2N excursion with Buhay Isla and we couldn’t have made a better decision! Great beaches, amazing food, awesome crew! Team Wind was on fire!! A special shout out to Archie, Vlad, Jess and Chris that made our experience memorable. Will be back in the Philippines in the future and will take the excursion again going the other way!Written 18 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lucijacrem4 contributionsDiving into Palawan's vibrant and biodiverse coral reefs was an experience I'll never forget. The moment I plunged beneath the surface, I was surrounded by a kaleidoscope of colors—schools of tropical fish, intricate coral formations, and the incredible sense of peace that comes from being so deep in nature.Written 17 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CasperCebu Island, Philippines14 contributionsI was looking for a dive center around El Nido where my girlfriend would be able to get her open water course done. After finding Tabanka I contacted them and the communication through email with Oliver was perfect.
The day before my girlfriend started her course we went to the dive center to introduce ourselves and do the required paperworks. We were welcomed by Joy and she helped us with our equipment and showed the schedule for the next two days. She was highly professional and made us feel very comfortable. I asked if I could join the course as fun-dives to watch and make pictures/videos and this was no problem.
Mark was an excellent instructor. He has almost 40 years of diving experience! You are in good hands when you will do your course with him.
The course itself was however a bit rushed since they do the open water courses in just two days. We would have preferred to spread it out over some more days, but Oliver explained that it's not possible due to logistics with the boat trips. On the other hand Tabanka does their open water courses in a 2:1 student/instructor ratio. Which I can, especially if this is your first time diving, really recommend to look for in a dive center.
All in all we are extremely happy with our experience with Tabanka. Mark, Joy, Oliver and all the boat crew, thank you so so much! 🙏Written 23 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Her team were very attentive, making us feel special all day. The lunch was delicious, set in a stunning, private island location. We don't usually leave reviews, but they truly exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!Written 12 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The groups going out are small, only 1 to 2 people per divemaster was my experience, which is fantastic! Jonathan and Larry are great divemasters, and Melissa at the front desk is immensely helpful. The guys on the boat are fantastic too, always there when you need help. The boat is small, so beware of that, but it just means a more intimate experience with you and the sea.Written 28 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Davide BModena, Italy160 contributionsWe been at El Nido and we were looking for some scubadives. Expecially my partner was interested about the SSI "deep dive" course.
The diving shop is little but nice and clean. The owner Mario and all the staff is simply great, professional, friendly and smiling.
I can just say that was a great experience.
Also my partner is enthusiastic about the deep dive course did with Sam, the istructure.
Compared to other diving shops, they use a fast boat that can reach all the sites in half (or less) of the time.
If you are around El Nido and interested in scuba diving Ranmarc is your place.
Thank you to all the staff.Written 7 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had never been diving before so we were quite nervous but John and Efren made us feel safe and at ease. They were incredibly friendly and professional throughout our time together. They even went to the trouble of taking us out diving on our own. We are both really grateful to them for giving us such a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.Written 30 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
