This bike tour was very informative and a great way to experience historical Manila! Our tour guide, Paolo, happily answered any questions we had and provided suggestions upon request as well. The assistant tour guides also helped as well with directing us to various stops and halting Manila traffic whenever we had to cross busy streets. I highly recommend this to anyone who visits Manila for the first time!
Short and sweet. Basically takes you through some of Manila's most historically significant areas. You have a reasonable amount of time to look around and take pictures.
Chloe's food adventure today was absolutely epic! From pig intestines, pig ears, chicken intestines, and chicken liver to dim sums, crispy spring rolls, banana fritters, and cassava cake—every bite was a bold flavor explosion! 😱 The iced beer was the perfect touch to wash it all down. 🍺🔥 Chloe knows how to dive into an unforgettable meal. This is what great eating is all about! 😋
Selected tour based on other reviews which we found valid. Picked up 15 min late due to delays in other pickups but found van comfortably equipped. 9 guests, 2 english speaking local raised guides and a very efficient safe driver. Headed south to Tagatay stopping as needed for loo and food sampling. Guides informative along the drive, a mic and speakers would have allowed better audio experience. Toured Peoples palace in the sky ( up the last bit Via Jeepney of couurse!),discussed sights and history of the area. Stopped at a multi restaurant mall for individual sit down meals then north to Manila and Intramuros. Tour of Intramuros extensive and educational and at well paced timeliness. Two guides allowed for some time allowances for splitting apart as individual needs required but group regathered and would move on. A very informative intelligent pleasant experience, highly recommend.
Albert is an amazing guide. He told me a lot about Manila and showed important places en route. He also took me to the local village market to taste few delicacies and fruits picked fresh from the orchard. The trip to Taal Volcanoes was mesmerizing. It was an exhilarating experience going on the choppy waters of the lake and see the enormity of the volcanoes. The noodles at the boat ride point was delicious.
Albert took us to the places we would never be able to discover on our own and gave us context only locals can provide. He was also very kind and helpful and I enjoyed the trip very much.
Our favourite tour that we took in Manila. We loved our walk through the hidden backstreets. The locals were friendly and welcoming. The variety of local transport made the tour fun. We enjoyed the tuk tuk ride through the market area . We finished off with a visit to Chinatown and some pork buns. Venus is an enthusiastic and engaging guide.
Loved our Intramuros walking tour with Andre! I went to school in Manila in the late 70s and studied Jose Rizal as part of our high school curriculum, and boy did I learn more about Jose Rizal and the history of Intramuros during this walking tour! The program for this 3-3.5 hr tour was just right – walking with visits to dungeons, talks under a mango tree and other shaded spots, kalesa ride, quick visits to the 2 churches, and even a sorbetes (dirty ice-cream 😉) snack break in-between. Andre who’s passionate sharing his knowledge about this part of history kept us engaged the whole time. Whatever my family and I learned, we were still discussing it even after the tour ended! Thank you so much Andre and Don’t Skip Manila! Folks!...this is definitely a tour not to be skipped!
Jian was terrific. I was the only one on the tour, and he explained things to me as though we were just chatting about the history and culture - instead of being lectured at. He also answered all of my questions fully, and delved deeper into areas that he saw were interesting to me. It couldn't have been a better introduction, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Want to know about the city of Manila and its rich history? This is a Great experience. Paolo was a great tour guide…I’d definitely recommend the tour to others.
I opted for this tour as i did not have much time in Manila. It was a great choice. Very relaxed. Really interesting to learn about the history of the city. And then to watch the sunset on a rooftop bar was great too. 100% recommend.
Such an amazing experience! Marco was incredibly informative and we couldn't have asked for a better guide! So different seeing Intramuros at night, absolutely spectacular
