Dennis was super helpful and very accommodating. He knows a lot about food and took some excellent photos of us with his camera. He gladly shared them and we loved them. When our group started to slow down he was happy to help us adjust our itinerary. Hong Kong is beautiful and we were lucky to have a great guide to show us around.

We took the Green Line which circled HK island. It was a beautiful ride and the recorded commentary was engaging and informative. 4 stars instead of 5 because the ticket cost seemed excessive compared to HOHO bus tours in other cities

We were walking along the waterfront and people there were selling tickets so we said yes. We did our research beforehand so we knew prices and the one we wanted to do. When we approached the guy with the tickets he wanted to over charge us an adult ticket for a child but i pointed it out and he pretended he messed up. So be wary.
They told us it was leaving in five minutes and it took off 35 minutes after its advertised departure time which was annoying. It says unlimited drinks and snacks but just know it’s only bottled water and/or ice tea and the snacks are tiny packets of dorito-like crisps. We had to ask for them as they didnt hand them out when you got on the boat. The cruise itself was nice, seeing all the building lit up but there’s no ‘light show’. U can just stay on the promenade and look over the harbour. I thought it was a waste of money and time, my husband liked it.

I wanted to experience the views of Victoria Harbor and what better way to see it then by way of a traditional junk boat. See the fabulous Hong Kong architecture as well as the yachts, barges, tugs and ferries too. Breezy and stress free. This excursion featured a dim sum lunch which tasted yummy. This combination is the best. Save your money and watch the light show from land and do this trip. The only issue was finding the exact spot at Pier 1 to embark but once I saw the junk boat I knew.

Ming was an exceptional guide, demonstrating a deep knowledge of history and culture, while also being incredibly engaging and personable, making the tour not just informative but truly enjoyable with his captivating storytelling and ability to cater our interests. Run don’t walk to contact him now. It was the best day ever!

This tour was the best!! BUT!! I think what made it so special was our guide, Andy! He really wanted us to see Hong Kong from a locals perspective. He explained local life, and how it was growing up in Hong Kong. Andy made sure we had a very local experience with Dim Sum, when we said we really wanted to try it. It was amazing!! It was one of our best tours even, if you wanted a local experience!! Thank you Andy, Susan and Family!

Decided to purchase the terrace admission with the tram ticket, as i saw it as a small addition to the price and thought it would give the maximum experience.
The tram is the only way to do this trip in my opinion and was an enjoyable ride up the mountain. There is plenty of photo opportunities of the skyline at the top of the mall opposite the station and also on the paths to the left and right of the station.
I would say if you turn left out of the station and keep to the path to the traditional Chinese type pergola, this is the best spot to get a photo with you in the picture. And all these spots mentioned are completely free!
On taking the elevator up to the sky terrace, I would have to say this was not a great spot for photos. It’s overcrowded, so you will do well to get that personal picture, plus the high barrier will always be in the frame too. It’s rather difficult to get a place where you can get yourself in a picture along with the view.
However, it is good for the view itself and also to take pictures of just the harbour without your party in it.
If you are on a tight budget, I would say you could get perfectly good pictures and views without taking this option but then again I personally like to experience all a region has to offer!
All round good morning and the walk around the edge of the summit (turn right out of the station and follow the signs) was really scenic and quiet.

Caleb is amazing! Took us to all the great places that we would never know to go. Explained some history along the way. Best part was explaining how to eat the food.
