Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Usia2014Calgary, Canada1,931 contributionsThe Harbour City mall is very big with many high end and name brand stores throughout the levels. There are plenty of restaurants with a variety of meals. It’s at the Victoria Harbour and in the early evening when all the lights came on outside, it was very pretty. They were just setting up displays for Christmas when we were there.Written 4 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Usia2014Calgary, Canada1,931 contributionsThis is a big mall but there is nothing special about it. The stores are pretty much the same as we see in North American regular malls. However, prices were expensive for the same things we get at home at much lower costs. We stopped here for a bite after visiting the Big Buddha.Written 4 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Abovetheclouds2,487 contributionsA huge mall located in Causeway Bay with numerous shops and eateries. There are designer brands like Gucci to high street names like Zara. Clean. Standard mall. Elegant. The few times I went, it was never too busy.Written 3 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TaherAlbaghliJulianKuwait City, Kuwait1,910 contributionsOne of the most important malls in Hong Kong. The architectural design is beautiful and innovative. - OntarioTraveler9Burlington, Canada951 contributionsThis is a large, busy and funky place with interesting interior architecture, shops, food outlets, and art displays. It is a good place to spend half a day wandering around.Written 5 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LBunbury, Australia9,018 contributionsWonderful to see historic buildings that have survived the demolishers hammer and been tastefully incorporated into the architecture surrounding. The former Marine Police Headquarters is one such building, now converted into a cultural and shopping landmark, also with restaurants and bars on Canton Road. Be prepared for high end shopping and fine dining.Written 14 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Abovetheclouds2,487 contributionsI walked through this mall a few times, mainly to get to other places as the mall is connected to MTR Kowloon. Huge, elegant mall. Very upmarket. Clean. Although it was big, the mall was easy to navigate and clearly signposted. Some nice eateries as well. There were designer shops and High Street brands. Tends to get very busy at peak times. Has a nice atmosphere. You can connect to complimentary WIFI if you need it.Written 24 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BradHong Kong, China181,006 contributionsPacific Place is a major shopping mall in Admiralty and popular place for medium to high-end brand name shopping. They have have a cinema, international super market and are well connected to the Admiralty MTR Station.
This mall also puts up some of the best Christmas decorations each year including this year's Christmasville theme featuring playful fuzzy, bear-like monsters that add joy for families and those with little ones to enjoy. In particular the multiple floor tall gentle giant in front of the MTR entrance. Its all good fun for the little ones and those interesting in taking a picture or two while spending time at the mall.Written 24 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Martin CSvendborg, Denmark67 contributionsGolden Computer Arcade is a must in Hong Kong. When you enter the indoor maze of shopping you get into an other world. You will find whatever you can imagine of computer gadgets and bits and pieces. It is worth a visit even if you are not a geek - simply to feel the buzz. Can be very well combined with the street markets in the area.Written 4 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were staying at YMT side and did make occasional walks to MK as it is very convenient. It is connected to the KCR station which thus make it a crowd puller.
We have been here some years back and have been the transformation and improvement made. The present Mall has a diverse mix of brand-name retailers and restaurants, locals & from Overseas. They are the usual shops for jewelry & watches, electronics appliances, cosmetics, health products, fashion & accessories. Just like the other larger Mall it also has extended entertainment like the IMAX theatre (B+ cinema I think) , UA cinema, and an outdoor children’s playground.
As it was nearing Chinese New Year period the atrium open space has many pop-up stalls selling all things adding to the celebratory mode. And I bought some abalones & mushroom too! Wife went to the Taiwanese soap shop and bought much Ah Yuan soap that we can't find back in SG.
Moko is also just next to Royal Plaza Hotel so tourists staying will enjoy the pleasure of close proximity too.Written 27 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael KSan Jose, CA1,142 contributionsThis is certainly not your average shopping mall as the outside looks like a cruise ship. The top decks are not accessible. All the shops are inside the hull. Once you step inside the hull to the shopping mall, there is no more maritime theme and it looks just like another shopping mall.Written 4 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
