- Naomi S1 contributionLegend was an absolute legend! We were able to communicate via Wechat a few days prior and his instructions were clear. Legend picked us up right on the dot. I was surprised at how many places we visited throughout the day. He is very efficient with time, and very experienced. He knows all the great spots or alternative spots to visit to avoid the crowds as much as possible. He helped us navigate souvenir shopping. He also recommended us how to get around Chongqing using apps and advised us on ways to travel to different cities. We accidently already visited one of the spots so he just skipped it and we spent more time elsewhere. He dropped us off at a mall nearby where we wanted to look at the Hongyadong at night, and he even showed us how to get the best night-view. I would 100% recommend this tour, as early as possible during your stay in Chongqing. Thank you, Legend! We were the grateful beneficiaries of a personalised tour by a guide with decades of experience, a sympathetic understanding of travellers’ needs and a depth of knowledge about the region and China in general that was most impressive. Charming company for an outing like this. The superb food laid on for lunch at a local hotel really took us by surprise: delicious menu choices that were attentive to our specific dietary requirements. Bravo, Legend. - Yee Kay S1 contributionMy family of 3 did a 3 days tour with Legend. He is a wonderful guide and a safe & patient driver.
Thanks Legend for the suggestions to have the best photos taken. He would remind us to let him know if there was anything that we might need. He was also concerned if we were used to the local food.
At the end of the tour, he also gave us suggestions of where we could go in Chongqing city and to let him know if we needed any help.
We will definitely recommend him to our friends and will engage him again next time.

Jasmine spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Dinner was hot pot buffet style and suited us because not all of us could handle the spice. The attractions were stunning and much more that I expected. Lunch was local and the meal had its local flavours in a small local eatery.

- CraknzeePortland, OR72 contributionsOnce again China never fails to impress with the best. The boat tour and lights are nothing like anything else in my opinion. Yes LasVega has many lights, however if you want a fun, safe beautiful place to visit the 45 minute tour is great! Start at the top of the 7+ story complex and prepare to be among hundred of toursists mostly from Asia. The tour ranges from 100-200 RMB so shop around. The boat is clean and has restrooms, and drinks (Cash bar). There is a VIP area on the top of the boat for an extra 50 RMB, but for $7usd the fruit tray not my thing. However you get to board early. Plan to take lots of video as the photos don't show the same. The food is good in the complex but not much to eat on the boat but fruit. If your in the area of the boat ride on the river be sure to walk the 15 minute route to "central" plaza with many high end stores. There is also a nice hotel within the complex with rooms that oversee the river. The room was large and comfortable, the scenery beautiful, and we (mostly) enjoyed the excursions. It’s best to go late afternoon as it’s also beautiful at night. Take time out to enjoy tea with the roasting of nuts and potatoes or trying some of the dumplings. A serving (tea and two plates of dumplings) for a family of 4 with late teens costed 150 yuan. Shibati is very close by so we did that as well.
