Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Mostafa made us feel so welcome and safe! He collected us from the airport, got to know us and was full of knowledge! He ensured we saw what we came for, lots of photos and experienced everything possible. We would recommend to friends and would hope Mostafa was available for them to get the most out of their day!

The Great pyramid(Pyramid of Khufu), built around 2550BC by Pharoah Khufu, is the biggest of all pyramids in Giza and was also the first one built in this complex. It's right at the entrance behind the ticket office.
Great pyramid is one of the seven wonders of the world.

I really had to see this and take some photos. But the entrance to the site and the staging area for photos are jammed with tons of tourists creating traffic jams and it was all too much. So get ready. It was worth the trouble, once in a lifetime. And get the history, way more ancient than I had thought.

This is the name of the plot of land that supports the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza. It's a broad area so with lots of space to accommodate the crowds you will surely see. Lots of good places to get the perfect photos. And lots of merchants who want to see you things, and they are aggressive.

This area of Dahshur is surely the earliest true pyramids. Both the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid are not to be missed. It gives you the peaceful feeling with much less people than the circus in Giza!

Part of the Giza complex of pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Come with a guide who can explain to you the history and engineering and place these incredible structures within the scope of ancient Egypt.

Your tour bus should take you up the hill above the Giza Plateau site so that you are poised above the pyramid site. This is the best place to take photos. There will be a lot of guys with camels who want to sell you rides. You can say yes or no.

I was looking for a place to be able to ride horses in Cairo that was professional and that had a humane and kind approach to the treatment of their horses when I came across Cairo Horse Riding School. It's a wonderful place where they rescue abused horses and rehabilitate them. The owner, Tamer was incredibly generous and accommodating. He asked us how proficient we were at riding horses and sent us out with Ahmed, who took care of us and also taught us a little bit of horse-riding tips and tricks on the way. My sisters and I went on a wonderful almost 2 hour ride on three of their horses and had a wonderful time, exploring the desert landscape near the Saqqara Pyramid and the Abou Sir Pyramids. Can't recommend this experience enough. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

Great hospitality! They have a huge collection of papyrus both for Egyptian history and Arabic/Islamic Choreography. They also have a few collections written in phosphorus where you'll get different designs/shapes in the dark . Glad to have the little demonstration on how papyrus is being prepared by Cutting the stalks.
The product price is very very costly, I had a failed negotiation of 100 EGP for their ask of 600 EGP, but got something similar with 75 EGP from a small shop near the Tahrir square.

It was my 1st time to see a movie in " MX4D " , I saw guardians of the galaxy Vol 3 , and was worth it !! ,
Of course, a Marvel movie with a lot of visual effects, action and movement, made this experience one of the greatest things it could be
Guys, I was riding with them on the spaceship, my chair moved with its movement, if there was an explosion, you would feel it, if someone fell on the ground, I would feel a bump coming in my back and under the chair, if a bullet hit the side of the character's ear, air rushing from the air pump behind the chair would pass beside and below me as if the bullet hitting me personally,, every movement, every hit, everything happens you feel it , I was afraid of the scenes of Drax when he hits someone because the chair keeps swinging at me, as if I am the one who takes the hits , so i really want you to see this by yourself and you won't regret it

This is a romanticized history narration with occasional slides or lazer graphics in front of the pyramids. Love the info and pyramid lights but the narration and pacing could be updated for the internet age. If you’re expecting lasers and music - entertainment like ‘dark side of the moon’ or Stone Mountain - this is not that. If you want a history lesson and don’t mind a cheezy script to see the pyramids lit up magestically at night, you’ll love it.

We had a wonderful day with Sayed Mahmoud and Mohamed. Beyond the pyramids tour that was amazing, Sayed took us on special places to buy good quality souvenirs. If you wanna visit the pyramids, I highly recommend! You will have the best experience!
