The Great pyramid(Pyramid of Khufu), built around 2550BC by Pharoah Khufu, is the biggest of all pyramids in Giza and was also the first one built in this complex. It's right at the entrance behind the ticket office.
Great pyramid is one of the seven wonders of the world.

This is the name of the plot of land that supports the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza. It's a broad area so with lots of space to accommodate the crowds you will surely see. Lots of good places to get the perfect photos. And lots of merchants who want to see you things, and they are aggressive.

LOVED IT! Great first stop in Egypt! Have sunglasses, and maybe a hat or scarf. There are no shelters for shade like other sites. Glad we had a guide and driver. Our guide, Yasser Samir, was great at explaining the significant facts and historical and cultural context. That, paired with the reality of being there, made the pyramids extra special. It can be a lot of walking without a driver, especially if you want to see other pyramids on site. Camel rides are available for purchase and there are wandering merchants selling hats, scarves, postcards, stamps, fans, etc. Sometimes the sales techniques can get a bit aggressive and Yasser helped reinforce our messages as needed, which we appreciated. There is a special section for climbing on the Great pyramid, too. An additional ticket can be purchased to go inside.

This area of Dahshur is surely the earliest true pyramids. Both the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid are not to be missed. It gives you the peaceful feeling with much less people than the circus in Giza!

Part of the Giza complex of pyramids and the Great Sphinx. Come with a guide who can explain to you the history and engineering and place these incredible structures within the scope of ancient Egypt.

I was looking for a place to be able to ride horses in Cairo that was professional and that had a humane and kind approach to the treatment of their horses when I came across Cairo Horse Riding School. It's a wonderful place where they rescue abused horses and rehabilitate them. The owner, Tamer was incredibly generous and accommodating. He asked us how proficient we were at riding horses and sent us out with Ahmed, who took care of us and also taught us a little bit of horse-riding tips and tricks on the way. My sisters and I went on a wonderful almost 2 hour ride on three of their horses and had a wonderful time, exploring the desert landscape near the Saqqara Pyramid and the Abou Sir Pyramids. Can't recommend this experience enough. Would go back again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful day with Sayed Mahmoud and Mohamed. Beyond the pyramids tour that was amazing, Sayed took us on special places to buy good quality souvenirs. If you wanna visit the pyramids, I highly recommend! You will have the best experience!

Ibrahim was an excellent guide who made our trip to Egypt unforgettable. He possesses in-depth knowledge of Egypt's history and culture, and his sense of humour and kindness made the trip more enjoyable. Thanks to him, we learned a lot and had a fantastic time. We had two amazing days with Ali. On our first day, he showed us the national museum of egyptian civilization and pointed out all the interesting facts in a fun way. Afterwards he showed us the hanging church, the bazaar and gave us more historical facts about different religions, synagoges and buidings.
On our second tour, the trip to the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and Necropolis of Saqqara was also great fun and informativ with him.
We would highly recommend Ali to anyone who needs a caring, good tour guide.

If you are planning a trip to Egypt this is the company you should choose. I booked the tour myself through Yasmine via what's app and she was great with her communication. The tour manager Walid was very professional and his communication was great. Boudi our driver was safe and professional and a nice guy. We had 3 guides Randa, Azza, and Sally. Ask for these guides as they are the best and very knowledgeable qualified historians. Do not hesitate to book with this company as we made memories that will last forever.

My husband, my son and I had the immense pleasure and honour of having Dr Ashraf as our Egyptology guide during a 4-day Nile cruise package organized thorough Gat tours.
Dr Ashraf is a true professional, an Egyptology expert.
    We thoroughly enjoyed his lectures.
We learnt so much despite a good read beforehand.
It's so nice to now be able to recognise some hieroglyphs ! Also, have a better overview understanding of Ancient Egypt history and Deities.
Dr Ashraf is also a wonderful person, kind, restpectful, humble, accommodating, with great time management.
He is passionate, clear and succinct in his explanations.
Dr Ashraf helped make our Egyptian holiday complete and fall in love with his wonderful country and people, old and current.
Thank you so much my friend.
    With gratitude and respect,
    Carmen and family

My wife and I decided to book a trip with Ahmed guiding us. We were nervous due to a possible culture shock we might have experience, but Ahmed made sure we were all set for everything and made us feel like we were right at home. Ahmed made sure we were not lost from the moment we arrived in Cairo's INTL Airport and till we finished our tour.

Ahmed has great knowledge of Egypt's rich history and showed us to many of Egypt's breath taking locations. Ahmed shows he is very organized and was always on time waiting for us in the meeting locations. Ahmed does small group tours and in my opinion is better due to having a greater personal experience compared to a 30 group tour. I highly recommend anybody to make the decision and book with Ahmed for your tour guide.

Without doubt one of the favorite vacation destination
    Egypt.
Its start with the tour planner Heger, she was reply to
my emails and give a lot of options we like.
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Ahmed and
Peter we felt welcomed and with such a friendly
atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and
tour was extremely good, very flexible and always on
    time (appreciate this!).
Also cannot say enough about Mr. Ahmed and Hani
they always follow up before each tour and make sure
    we have great time.
Special thanks to the tour guides, Huda, Ester, Asmaa
and Alaa for the wonder guide, we learnt so much
    about history culture and more.
The atmosphere is so special that it really felt like
home to all of us. Again all respect for Mr. Ahmed, Mr.
Hani and the whole team who does a great job there; a
true sample of excellent tour organizer
Many thanks again and I recommend ETB to everyone!
