My wife and I recently decided to venture to Egypt during one of our many international trips. As traveling is nothing new to us, the majority of the time we decide to plan, manage and handle all of our own itinerary and travel plans. But when we began looking at Egypt, we decided it may be best to book a package deal instead of doing our own thing......and man are we glad we did.

The staff and guides that work for Here Egypt Tours and managed our booking where nothing short of phenomenal. Several weeks prior to our trip, Mona began reaching out to us to make sure we had all the necessary details we needed, providing very detailed specifics on the trip, various contacts and so much more. Her attention to detail and true customer service was remarkable. But it didn't stop there, Mona made sure to check in with us on a daily basis during our entire journey to make sure everything was going well and we were enjoying our time.

From Day 1 when Mohamed picked us up directly from the airport, our minds were completely put at ease. Mohamed provided us a briefing on what to expect and some tips/feedback for our trip. When we asked about an ATM close to our destination so we would be able to withdraw some Egyptian Pounds, Mohamed made sure he took us to a reputable ATM, he stood by in case we had any issues and was very respectful of our "space". But one of the biggest tips Mohamed gave and we will never forget......When talking to people in Egypt, don't listen to the voice or their tone, look at the eyes as this will tell you everything. In his words.......we all sound mad when we talk so look at our eyes.

Our guide while in Giza was Farouk who had an unbelievable amount of knowledge about the pyramids, sphinx and so much more. He was happy to answer any questions we had and ensure that we had time to stop by a couple reputable souvenir shops for some shopping. When we returned back to Giza, we opted to do a day trip up to Alexandria which Farouk was our guide for again.

While we were on the cruise and for our several day journey of tours up and down the Nile, I dont think we could have asked for a better guide than Ahmed. Not only did he keep us well informed, but his knowledge was out of this world. If I didn't know better, I would think he lived in the times of the historical Egyptians. We saw so many sites and temples and I don't think there was a single question asked that Ahmed couldn't answer. He was fun to be around, spent time hanging out with us even outside of the tours and made sure daily that things were going well and we were satisfied. We were paired with a small group which allowed us to meet some new people and make new friends along the way as well.

But, here is the biggest thing. EVERY step of the way, even as we were being transferred via the Egypt Train Lines, by various drivers/shuttles, etc, this team made sure we knew exactly what was going on, exactly who our contact was and that we had the ability to communicate with them. We never felt like we were unsure of what to do or where "flying blind" during our trip. Between the multiple points of contact we had, the pictures they would send so we knew who to look for all the way down to literally, someone waiting for us the moment we stepped off the train, we felt safe and well taken care of. In fact, I would almost say they went out of their way to make sure we felt so.

I would HIGHLY recommend this team to anyone that was planning a trip to Egypt and didn't know where to start. Mona and the team will make sure that you have a worry free trip that you will be over joyed about when its all said and done. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would.

PS to the Here Egypt Team......my new buddy Sayed needs a nap! And THANK YOU! You made this trip one to definitely remember.

We visited Egypt from 23.03.24 to 30.03.24 after booking this package at Viator.

First things first....People who madeit possible.... Many Thanks to Ms Mona for being immensely helpful at each and every step of our trip. She constantly kept tab of each and everything on a day to day basis to ensure that we were being taken good care of. My heart goes out to Mr. MOHAMED in Cairo and his wonderful team that includes Rahim, Caesar and Farroukh. They took extra care of me and my family. They were prompt, courteous and friendly during our visits to various places. Despite it being Ramadan period and the associated fasting, these guys were always there for us for any help.
A special mention to Mr. Shakour in Luxor. The man is an encyclopedia on Egyptian history. A thorough gentleman and a seasoned expert, words fail me in thanking him for his contribution to make this trip a memorable one.
Time Now for the day to day activities
Day 1. We were picked right on time from Cairo Airport by Mr. Mohamed. On our way to hotel he showed us around the beautiful city of Cairo. It s a very big and spread out city. Hotel Pyramid Oasis has a terrace with a decent view of Pyramids. I wanted that specially and it didn't dissappoint.

Day 2. Wonderful trip to the Great Pyramids. Took photos from each and every angle possible, Thanks to patience of Mr. Caesar who was ever smiling. Pyramids and Sphinx are truly magnificent. Dropped at Giza train station for next leg of tour from Aswan.

Day 3. Picked up on time from Aswan to Five star cruise. It's a beautiful cruise. Well maintained clean and very high quality rooms. Dining area and buffet were amazingly good. Went to Philae temple trip and back. Came back Rested and relaxed on open deck of the cruise. Beauty of Nile on full display.

Day 4. Early trip to AbuSimbel through Desert. Beautiful Roads till Abu Simbel. Nice Scenery all around. Sahara geserts glory on full display. Came back around 3pm and cruise started onwards towards Luxor. Stopped at Kom Ombo on the way. Grand temple with huge pillars. Beautiful. Overnight journey to Edfu.

Day 5. Morning horse carriage to Edfu. Once again we were left dumbstruck by the grandiose Edfu temple. Huge pylon and tall pillars. Mr. Shakour explained everything in a simple way. Rested on Cruise and through Esna Lock reached Luxor in evening.

Day 6 was very busy. Had unforgettable balloon ride, trip to V o Kings , Hatshepsut temple and a train journey back to Cairo

Day 7. Rested after a hectic week. Dinner in hotel Pyramid Oasis terrace was very good

Day 8 Caught our flight back home with wonderful lifetime memories.

My family felt we were lucky to get a great experience and were able to make lifetime memories.

Egypt is a place that i always wanted to visit and finally we manage to plan and book through Here Egypt Tour. Nour is very responsive and answer my query before we make our final decision and pay. They are very good and they will inform and contact us 1 day before the trip and make sure connection from Giza - Luxor - Aswan - Giza flow seamlessly. We had Mohamed, Farouk, STAR and Owfi as our tour guide and all of them are very knowledgeable. Farouk he is the guide for Giza and Alexandria area and Owfi for Luxor and Aswan area. He is a guy full of humor and try his best to explain the history of Egypt and match the team to the character. We all have fun in this trip. We have no luck on the hot air balloon due to windy weather. Beware of all the services provided by the stranger, they will expect tips in return.

Thank you all the friendly and helpful tour guide and Here Egypt Tour

The tour itself was a perfect blend of historical and cultural sites, giving us a well-rounded view of Egypt. From the majestic Pyramids of Giza to the stunning temples of Luxor, every stop on our tour was a unique and memorable experience. We also got to explore the bustling streets of Cairo and immerse ourselves in the local culture, thanks to the guidance of our knowledgeable guides.

Egypt is a land rich in history, culture, and breathtaking sights. And what better way to experience this beautiful country than through a tour that takes you to some of its most iconic landmarks? Recently, I had the opportunity to embark on a tour of Egypt, and I must say, it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the majestic pyramids and sphinx to the tranquil Nile cruise, every moment of the trip was filled with wonder and amazement.

We have just completed a five day Egypt experience and have had a wonderful time. We really appreciated having Zakarya our tour guide with us the whole time from Aswan to Luxor. He took great care of us, always making sure we were happy with every aspect of our tour. He provided knowledgeable insights into each site we visited as well as giving us time to explore on our own. He also suggested some great additions to our tour such as the hot air ballooning in Luxor which turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
We highly recommend Zakarya for your tour of Egypt.

It was our last day in Cairo and we wanted to cover the Citadel, the Egyptian Museum, and the Giza pyramids. We had initially planned to do this by ourselves, but decided very late(read 6am on the day itself) to use the services of Adi Tours instead. We made the right call.
Adel was super accommodating as he arranged everything for us in very little time. A comfortable private car and a very experienced tour guide - Shaima - made our day a lot easier. We would not have been able to cover as much ground without them.

The hardest part of this was to find the correct cruise to review, so I put the exact name in the title. We travelled with Discover Egypt on the MS Tulip . All the cruise boats use a similar route from Luxor to Aswan and back in a week .
There is a lot to see and do , quite an active trip with early starts and lots of fantastic temples/ monuments/ tombs to see, handily our phones these days give a name of where the photo is taken, very useful when trying to remember.
We had a guide; Mohamed, for the whole time, he is a trained Egyptologist and had an extensive knowledge of all we saw, plus other random questions we threw at him during the trip. He also accompanied us round markets etc to buy souvenirs, very handy as nothing in Egypt has a price label on it! There were about 18 English travellers on board we all got on well, then the others on board were a mix of Americans, Italians , Koreans, very multi cultural.
I mentioned Mohamed, our guide as being a star, but in fact all the staff on board were so lovely and helpful. Even the chef baked a birthday cake for my birthday and his staff grouped out of the galley banging tambourines and singing, so I wouldn’t forget! Our cabin clean and tidy with a new towel sculpture each day. The only problem I didn’t take much sterling cash with me for tips. Hard currency dollars, euros sterling are most welcome as the Egyptian pound is under a bit of pressure.
We went on the big trip to Abu Simbel and didn’t regret the coach trip when we saw sunrise over the desert and then the magnificent Temple. We had a week in Hurgada afterwards to relax . In January the sun was out each day , temperatures were low twenties. My joy was sitting out on the top deck of the boat watching the rural life of Egypt drift by and bird spotting. Herons and egrets galore with kingfishers and falcons , gulls and other small wading birds , loved it.

These 4 days were an amazing experience! Our tour guide was always on time and prepared to explain in detail all the archaeological sites that we visited. The cruise also offered all the services that we needed to relax during our journey such as good food and beverages, a tiny pool, and sunbeds. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable vacation.

This tour was excellent - I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to visit Egypt for the first time (or indeed any subsequent visits). The sights and experiences included as part of the tour exceeded my lofty expectations. I would also recommend partaking in all the additional activities, as they were all well worth it and enhanced the overall experience. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was excellent. He was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure that all tour guests were well looked after and informed. He even managed to take us to several places which weren’t included on the original itinerary. I’d hope that if any friends or family were to do the same tour, they would have Ahmed as their tour guide.

The cruise was very nice and Mahmoud our tour guide was wery helpfull and knowledgable obout all the places we went . The cruise was nice and very clean cabin with great staff who catered to all our needs.
the sleeping train trip however was a dissapointing affair. it was extremely dirty and seemed like the cleaning was done as often as the maintenance that seemed to be from when the train was new at around 2 world war. i can understand it is old but when you pay 90 dollars each i would expext something more than that. However the staff was friendly and helpfull . The last day of our trip, Mody tours are a bit disappointing that they cant be able to get us from the train station anymore.
