- venice w3 contributionsOur flight from Morocco to Cairo was delayed, and I was concerned that my husband and I wouldn't have a ride to Giza. Fortunately, our driver kept in touch and patiently waited for us. After a two-hour delay, when we finally left the airport, I spotted our driver holding a sign with my name. I was thrilled! She took us to our hotel without any further delays. I highly recommend Rimo Tour and especially our kind driver, Captain Iman Mohamed. Not only was he well knowledgeable telling us the great stories behind all we saw, he also guided us and made sure the items we planned to purchase were gotten from top quality places. There are a lot of hagglers and if you’re not careful you get swindled by them. Mohammed made sure this didn’t happen by giving us all the information we needed prior.

Perfect finish to our Cairo trip and will be recommending our family and friends do this. One recommendation would be to serve one glass of wine or beer perhaps (we did the cruise on NY’s eve and were hanging out for a drink !!) . Service onboard was friedndly and professional- welcome drink (juices) upon arrival, hot towels, mineral water and complimentary non alcoholic drinks.
The host contacted us a few days in advance to share location details for the meeting point and also the dinner menu. So glad we prepaid for the dinner which was only $50 USD for two of us. Our guide, Mimo, and driver, Peter, made the day truly unforgettable.
Mimo was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights and stories about ancient Egyptian history and culture. His passion for the subject made every stop even more engaging. On top of that, he’s an amazing photographer, capturing perfect moments for us to remember forever. He tailored the tour to our interests, ensuring it felt like a completely customized experience.
Peter was an excellent driver—safe, reliable, and punctual. Navigating Cairo can be daunting, but with Peter, we felt completely at ease and could focus on enjoying the adventure.
We’re so glad we opted for a private tour with Mimo and Peter. It was an enriching and seamless experience from start to finish. - Nursalim H2 contributionsI'd rate Marco for 10 out of 10. Abdullah the driver is also super, 10 out of 10 too, the trip is so smooth sailing under Abduh captain! Marco is very courteous, very knowlegeable on historical and current affairs on every pyramids and historical sites we visited! Giza, sphinx, saqqara, memphis, even the souvenir shop in khan al khalili! A tru Egyptologist and tour guide.

- Luke15 contributionsAn amazing tour from start to finish. Amal is a fantastic tour guide explaining to you everything about the pyramids, Sphinx, and everything on display at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Entering the smallest of the three pyramids is worth it as is the camel ride!

He took us exactly where we wanted to go and gave us the tour that we wanted and had paid for. He took really good care of us, from bathroom breaks, offering to take photos, and supplying us with sugar cane drinks. The absolute best thing was that he did not even attempt to take us to any markets/carpet places/shops once we had said we did not want to go. On other tours we found ourselves being shunted there anyway, whether we wanted it or not. He did not pressure us for a tip or a 5-star review. He was the best we experienced in Cairo so of course he got a tip and a 5-star review.
