- Thanos P1 contributionHad the absolute best time at Sam’s soju tasting! From start to finish, it was clear how passionate and knowledgeable Sam is about Korean spirits and culture. Each pour came with a great story or fun fact, and the range of flavors we tried was incredible — from classic smooth soju to unique fruit infusions I’d never even heard of before.
Sam created such a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Whether you're a soju newbie or a seasoned sipper, you'll learn something new and have a great time doing it. I'd recommend this class to anyone travelling to Seoul in a heartbeat, don't miss out! Sam was so informative during the tasting and it was a wonderful cultural and educational experience even for me as a Korean American. Everyone in my group and the host went out for additional drinks after because we were having so much fun. Inji was super informative and we felt like we learned so much about the drinking and drink making culture in Korea. The bar/restaurant we did our tasting at was also a really fascinating place, it was like going back in time.
