This was a life time experience. I travelled from Dubai to Tblisi. Visa is not needed for Indians and all you need is emirates ID and your passport. That’s it. The check in at the airport was easy. Not too many questions asked. Just the ID and your name. But I have seen some of the travelers are being interrogated by the airport police in Georgia. Anyway I had a friend in Tblisi , so it was easy for me to roam around. The rooms very easy to find and the prices are affordable. Good rooms , neat and the apartment owners were kind. The old Tblisi is beautiful, the bridge looks stunning in the night with lights. We took a cable car to the top of the mountain where you can see the whole old Tblisi town and the statue at the top. That was a nice experience. The food is delicious , especially khin khali, their special food. I had this enough during my trip. The old style city is so nice to have a walk in the morning. You don’t find a real breakfast place, but there are lot of resto bars for dinner. Tried all the food and the Georgian wine as well. The people are welcoming and so kind. I used taxi for traveling through an app. It was cheaper than direct taxis. City has an ancient ambience and everything there looks beautiful. It’s a must visit place atleast once. There is new Tblisi as well. Visited both the sides of the town. There are churches in the town. You can see Lot of castles in Georgia. An amazing unforgettable experience.

However, it's worth swinging on the rope, especially for the younger ones, and I'd advise taking the stairs downhill on the way back to feel the warmth of the magnificent fort walls enclosing the summit.

A very enjoyable city with great restaurants, museums and art galleries. We stayed in the Old Town at the Amante Hotel - asked for a room on the 3rd or 4th Floor for a fabulous view across the city. We took advantage of the Turkish Baths which are highly recommended, caught the tube which is an experience, visited the Botanical garden, and took the cable car to the fort and seperatly to the theme park overlooking the city.
The highlight of the visit were supper in the Funicular Restaurant on MT Mtatsmida, the Exhibitions at the National Museum and the breathtaking art in the Georgian Museum of Fine Art which "should not be missed"

Very impressive. Golden frames and pictures. High ceilings. If you’re in Tbilisi, that place is a must for visiting. You can take impressive photographs.

Went to Chronicles monument on a private tour while visiting Tbilisi with my adult kids. Very unique monument that have not seen elsewhere. Our tour guide pointed to the various notable heroes from Georgia's past that are honored here, which was a good way to learn about the history of the place. Great place for very unique pictures.

This is an avenue with beautiful buildings, similar to those seen in European cities. The facades of the building are ornate, with some carvings, etc. I asked a local what these buildings are for, was told that some are government buildings and commercial offices. They all seemed to be well-maintained.

I took my time walking around here, just enjoying the ambience.

The Gabriadze clock has a very unique design and looks very charming. That would be all if we hadn't caught it at a very good time. Every hour an angel comes out and rings the bell. I witnessed this at 11 am and heard someone say that at 12 pm there will be a longer show on the clock so I came back to view it. There was the show "Circle of Life" with marionette figures inside of the clock and it was very cute 5 minute show. There was the cafe of theatre nearby which also looked nice but didn't enter. You can watch a show inside as well but have to book tickets which I didn't so I didn't enter.

On our way to Kazbegi we stopped at this beautiful spot. The calmness of the water and the natural beauty around it made it a hidden gem. A must visit for nature lover. I loved the traditional market around there.

Your visit to Georgia is not complete until Jack and Jill go all the way up the Mtatsminda hill to fetch some spectacular 360 degree views of the city. Don't forget to take the funicular a uphill train that goes at a 45 degree angle uphill yet very safe and relaxing even suitable for light hearted. Once you reach there you can take some jaw aching photos , spend some time in the theme park or indulge in some street foods.

A small and quaint cathedral at the top of a hill. Its architecture is very beautiful and you can see people who are praying in the unique Georgian Orthodox fashion. It's the same experience as other Georgian churches in a more compact way.

Georgia 🇬🇪 and her capitalTbilisi are rich with history, my family were keen to have a deeper understanding of the nation’s past.

We enjoyed all displays at the museum, three floors in total. It’s not a large museum, about two hours worth. My son and I enjoyed the insight into Georgia’s history, including that under soviet rule. This top floor gallery is not for ‘war enthusiasts’ as one visited has stated, the post-World War One period for Georgia was cruel and brutal, recent history I’m thankful to now know a little more about.

What was insulting was that as tourists, we were required to pay double the entry price, 30 GEL each. Whoever has agreed to this has no real appreciation of how insulting this is. My family and I choose to visit your beautiful country, spent thousands of Euros to get here, to then be exploited because we weren’t born here. This needs to be addressed in my opinion.
