Our tour guide pointed to the various notable heroes from Georgia's past that are honored here, which was a good way to learn about the history of the place. - Sophie B8 contributionsWe loved the architecture and the possibility to stroll on an alley without having to go up or down the hill. There are many interesting small shops and oriental restaurants on the way, so it would be a pleasant walk if it wasn´t so loud and crowded.

- APhipps9066 contributionsGiorgi was a truly fantastic guide. Warm and engaging, he was knowledgable about his subject as well as down to earth and easy to talk to. He made the tour which packed in a whole host of impressive sites, giving time for photos, answering questions and helping with any queries in general (I took him up on his restaurant recommendation and was not disappointed!). If you want to cover a lot of ground and have somebody who can provide context and history/politics with you, this is the right tour. You’ll come away with fresh knowledge, plenty of photos and a smile on your face. I am delighted to highly recommend this tour which was guided by Mariyam.
Mariyam is an excellent professional guid. She took us to a very interesting neighborhood in the center of Tbilisi, we woud'nt get to know by ourselves.
Thanks to Mariyam we discover the glory of the past of TbilisI with its glorious buildings, beautiful painted corridors.
She shared with us her enormous knowledge about history, present life and every question we had about everything.
I am so happy I took this special tour with such a great guid like Mariyam.

- Katie B4 contributionsOur time with Irma and Khatuna on the farm was without a doubt one of the highlights of our Georgia trip. The six of us can’t stop talking about it! We were so impressed by Khatuna’s energy and skill around her bountiful farm, and by Irma’s perfect hosting, teaching, translating. Even as experienced cooks, we learnt new techniques, new flavours, and plenty about Georgian culture. Without doubt, our guide Giorgi Chartolani was the best guide we could possibly have ever had. His knowledge was amazing, his way of explaining history & Georgian culture was superb ( has a Masters Degree in Georgian History). His company was first class. We had a terrific week with him, an experience we will not forget.
We have no hesitation in recommending Giorgi to our friends and recommending him through Expert Guides Georgia business to other travellers.
He is/was so good, we will consider returning to visit other regions with him another time. Giorgi Zangaladze who runs Expert Guides Georgia was excellent to communicate and deal with. His patience in answering our questions was terrific,
Thanks to Expert Guides Georgia for being so helpful in arranging the tour. We were so impressed we are considering coming back another time to visit other regions, and of course we wouldn’t hesitate to utilise the services if Expert Guides Georgia again.
