Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Tayyaba FLahore, Pakistan466 contributionsOn our way to Kazbegi we stopped at this beautiful spot. The calmness of the water and the natural beauty around it made it a hidden gem. A must visit for nature lover. I loved the traditional market around there.Written 21 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Juby JEmirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates330 contributionsYour visit to Georgia is not complete until Jack and Jill go all the way up the Mtatsminda hill to fetch some spectacular 360 degree views of the city. Don't forget to take the funicular a uphill train that goes at a 45 degree angle uphill yet very safe and relaxing even suitable for light hearted. Once you reach there you can take some jaw aching photos , spend some time in the theme park or indulge in some street foods.Written 7 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sabin kDubai, United Arab Emirates14 contributionsIt's a vast park with an entrance fee of 4 lari. The entire place is stunning, especially the waterfall area, which is even more beautiful and likely the garden's main attraction.Written 30 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lodko161 contributionsWe got the very cheap cable car to the top of the mountain to visit turtle lake.
Overall it’s definitely worth visiting for something different to do / explore the area.Written 4 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The ballon was the most attractive things to do in here. get the clear view of TbilisiWritten 5 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PowerpillBudapest, Hungary198 contributionsAlthough the place gets overcrowded during the weekend there will always be a quiet spot around.
The lake is not the cleanest, it was all foamy and stuff when we were there a few times but that's probably the only negative thing I can come up with.
There are drinks and snacks all around the popular side of the lake plus an awesome playground for kids which only costs 5 laris.
The beach itself is pebbly but not unconfortable at all. If you don't like stones there's grass all around only a few yards from the water.
Swimming is only allowed on one side of the lake but there are nice spots all over especially for fishing.
If you don't want to go out of the city up to the mountain lakes just take a cab and come here for a few hours. A taxi shouldn't cost more than 10 laris form anywhere in the city.Written 24 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - emmaWorld449 contributionsIt is one of the best if not the best park in tbilisi. It has the peace statue and it is big and full of greenery and a few fountains. Next to it is a ropeway cable car that takes you to the turtle lake.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tim HWhangarei, New Zealand9 contributionsIt's an old zoo with a very sad history.
Opened in 1927 this zoo has aways done its best. 2015 was a sad year with the flooding of the zoo and the loss of many of the animals and 3 staff. You can still feel thier pain when you talk to the staff. At this time much of the former zoo is closed but there is plans to open a safari park in the future and close the old zoo. It is worth while visiting even if its just to get a feel of how things use to be.Written 17 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - The World is My OysterOrlando, FL21,853 contributionsThis was pretty close to our hotel, right off Rustaveli Avenue. The park had a few benches, as well as a cool fountain and some historical statues. Pretty tranquil place to relax.Written 27 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- The World is My OysterOrlando, FL21,853 contributionsCool little park in the old town, and next to the famous Turkish and Georgia Bath houses. - CatherineTbilisi, Georgia429 contributionsNot a big fan of such a closed zoo and prefer animals that are in the open space. This place is also very far and at the end of Tbilisi. Though not bad to visit it with kids if they love animals as they can also feed them with bare hands.Written 9 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - beetcannerSouthern Nevada788 contributionsThis park is a beautiful place to walk through to get to the Dry Bridge Market. Om a hot July day, this park is a respite from the heat amongst trees. Don't miss the fountain for a cooling spot.Written 25 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mad A32 contributionsReading about the history behind this place is more interesting than actually visiting it. This is, apparently, where the world’s first children railway was opened! Park opened in 1830s by Mir-Fatah-Agha, an Iranian cleric that was exiled from Tabriz! But when you go there, it’s just a small amusement park. We went there in the evening when it had gotten dark, so it was almost a dead amusement park.
But frankly, I went there for my small boy, and I don’t think he would have cared much if the historical aspects of it were more on display. He enjoyed the rides, and we all probably appreciated that it wasn’t crowded, so we didn’t have to be in queue for any ride.Written 8 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
