Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tbilisi Digital Space is a place you can go alone and feel yourself in other world. I really loved. Strongly recommend you to go if you have 30-40minutes free time

The gallery was open on one floor during my visit (although after renovations the other floor is opening 9.Nov.24). The main floor was largely dedicated to Pirosmani with some really beautiful pieces on display.

With his characteristic style of naive primitivism. Pirosmani's paintings feature bold colours depicting a childlike perspective. The simplicity of his paintings convey strong emotions and a connection to nature and everyday life. His works being a reason in and of itself to visit the gallery. If the opportunity presents when in Tbilisi, well worth a look.

We only went there on Monday, 23rd October as the other museums were closed. Tickets cost 15 lari each.

This museum mostly exhibits Georgian artist Zurab Tsereteli's works.
The 2nd and 3rd level were regarding his works. I actually enjoyed seeing his works as it was vibrant and showcased abit of Georgian culture (which is nice for someone who has little exposure of that)
The 1st level had an exhibition of a Bahraini artist Rashid Al Khalifa, which is cool and worth checking out.

Museum staff at the counter speaks English well and explained the different exhibitions at each level.

    Photography and Videography are allowed.

My husband and I just stumbled into this museum after seeing a sign on the street. He is a musician and was interested. It might be my favorite thing we’ve done in Tbilisi!
We paid 5 Lari each for the tickets and another 5 Lari for the tour. 100% pay for the tour. It was the best part of the experience.
The lovely lady who was our tour guide had good English and explained the history, culture, and play style of all of the instruments. She also played a number of them for us!!
If you’re a fan of music, history, culture, or just little-known gems, visit this place! It’s well worth the hour out of the sun, and it’s right next to everything in OlD Tbilisi—right across from Europe Square Park.

Interesting. The building is modern Glas and chrome. Glass floors in secured entrance foyer.
The museum houses only Georgian Artist for the last 80 years. You will see similarities in much of the art from the younger artist.
The museum staff definitely needs to work on the flow of the exhibits. You will see the Artist Information signage (Georgian & International language) and start enjoying the art and a new Artist Information sign appears! You went the wrong way. Some sort of directional signage on floor would help.
It's 15 GEL lari, I highly recommend they consider issuing a two day pass. The work is plentiful and overwhelming. I would have made multiple trips like at other museums that have multi entry tickets.

The Georgian Museum of Fine Arts is a private art museum located on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi, Georgia. It houses over 3500 artworks created by over 80 artists during the last 70 years. The museum exhibits a private art collection of the family of its founders - Gia Jokhtaberidze and Manana Shevardnadze. The museums collection includes many works by renowned Georgian artists.

The museum is housed in a modern with a glass staircase, which itself is interesting (until you try walking down it). The building was designed specifically for art exhibitions. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the rich and diverse world of Georgian art.

Well worth a look when in Tbilisi.

The place is worth a visit, pretty place, especially to see Akhundov's house and office and get acquainted with major figures of the Azerbaijani art and history. However I can't give it a high ranking because the main job of a museum is to teach history and this one is just Azerbaijani government propaganda. It was offensive to see Azerbaijani claim on Armenian land in a museum in Tbilisi. It also completely obscures Akhundov's ties with Iran, which is ironic because Akhundov considered himself mainly an Iranian and is actually widely considered the founder of Iranian nationalism as a movement. I'm not objecting because I'm offended as an Iranian (Akhundov was an authoritarian and a vile racist, Azerbaijan can have him if they want him so badly) but because this museum only teaches a wrong and distorted version of history to its visitors and is only good for someone already familiar with history.
