Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is an avenue with beautiful buildings, similar to those seen in European cities. The facades of the building are ornate, with some carvings, etc. I asked a local what these buildings are for, was told that some are government buildings and commercial offices. They all seemed to be well-maintained.

I took my time walking around here, just enjoying the ambience.

We loved the architecture and the possibility to stroll on an alley without having to go up or down the hill. There are many interesting small shops and oriental restaurants on the way, so it would be a pleasant walk if it wasn´t so loud and crowded.
Still a beautiful place to stroll.

This street is full of cafes and restaurants, but be careful as some of them try to charge far too much. Saying this, we dined at two lovely restaurants here.

visited this during the day and the effect was not as wonderful as I could imagine it would be with the accompanying lights etc. The setting is very nice, the area around is very clean and peaceful, so the musical accompaniment is very soothing. The perfect answer of you want to relax.

My absolute favorite of Tbilisi! It’s visually beautiful, historic and hipster, and summer evenings in one their many terraces are a complete delight. The only downside is they seemed to have allowed construction of unaesthetic objects inside the factory grounds like that burger inn that look ugly and totally ruin the authentic feel of the old 1890’s architecture.

It is one of the best if not the best park in tbilisi. It has the peace statue and it is big and full of greenery and a few fountains. Next to it is a ropeway cable car that takes you to the turtle lake.

We had a hard time finding this cute church, as it is tucked in, in the old town on a side street. The courtyard was very pretty, but there were some construction going on all around it.

A faster route than shows on googlemaps is to walk on loseb Grishashvili street past the sulphur baths and turn right onto Firdousi Street which becomes Gertsel Bazovi Street. At the end of Gertsel, you will feel as though you are entering someone’s yard, but just follow the path and the steps leading up. On the way, you’ll notice a couple of small blue signs attached high on the wall directing you to the monastery.

My hotel is located around here so I walked around this Square during the duration of my stay. At the center of this Square is the Statue of Saint George. There is a lot of traffic here so pedestrians need to use the Underground Passages to go from one section to other areas of the Square.

There are government offices, restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, taxi stands, Group Tours, Money Exchanges, etc. here.

The janitor is very significant and is beautiful standing on the corner near many other statues. He really stands out and has such character. Great photo snap.

The Soviet era building is located on outskirts of the city on the banks of the Kura river. You will definitely pass by it if you are heading northwards out of the city and it is difficult to miss given its unique architecture. The building is shaped like a giant interchange with roads at multiple levels crossing in different directions. A central core supports several extensions at right angles to each other. The concept is to reduce the building's footprint thereby providing more space for nature.

The building has a unique architecture which makes it difficult to miss.

The parliament of Georgia is located in the city center of Tbilisi, the capital city of Georgia. The best way to get there depending on where you are is to get to the closest subway station and come out on Liberty Square. Tip for the first time travelers: Every subway station in Tbilisi has a service cabin where you can get a card to travel by subway.

A modern style design of a lightening tree. Not sure of the sculpture but it is well located opposite to the old town on the other side of the river
