Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- tammyBaltimore_MdBaltimore, MD2,290 contributionsOnly a 1 or 2 shows during the day, after 6pm every 30 minutes, anyplace you stand you can't miss the high spurts of water during the shows, directly outside Dubai Mall (follow the signs).Written 24 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kim GToronto, Canada1,362 contributionsVery impressive mosque with lovely flower details on each surface. It is very large and there is a nice long walk around the property to actually get inside.
The carpet inside is beautiful and known to be the largest handmade carpet in one piece in the world.
You will need to pre-register to gain entrance - including age, citizenship, gender, etc.
Also note that any head scarf is apparently not enough to gain entrance. I was wearing a long dress that covered plus a scarf. They felt my scarf was too transparent so I had to buy a long dress with hood to enter.
Definitely worth visiting.Written 26 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Red Pop20 contributionsGreat place.
Possibly would book fast track if we knew how long queues were but staff did what they could to reduce them.
All staff really friendly.
Amazing building and probably remains a must see.
While there check out the mall with an aquarium, ice rink, fountain shows etcWritten 26 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Murray D9 contributionsIt's an amazing mall to walk around and although there are very expensive retail outlets there are also H&M etc that have 40% sales on and good prices.
It's a beautiful place to walk around and it's a huge place so you don't get to see everything on one visit. The burgers at 5 guys are about the best I've tasted and I can't make them better myself and have tried.
Outside in the back along the water you can see the Burj Khalifa tallest building and in the evening they give a video show on the building that lights up like a video screen.
The Dubai Mall drips in luxury and you can see all the heavy weights in here like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, and Versace etc.
We stayed at the Swiss Hotel across the street so walking over is a breeze.Written 27 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. No words.. it's suitable for family get together and friendsWritten 25 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - らわManchester, UK1,502 contributionsThis garden was absolutely amazing, it had so many flowers, and it reminded me of Alice in the Wonderland with the castle and palace like structures and all the heart shaped motifs. The huge Emirates plan covered in flowers was also great. It is extremely crowded and very difficult to get a taxi to leave, which is a downside. There are a few food stalls selling junk food, fruit juices and coffee. It is 5 minutes walk from the butterfly garden so it’s good to see both on the same day.Written 25 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Fun rides and roller coaster.Written 27 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - LolaGo1Washington DC, DC6,407 contributionsAfter checking it at my hotel in Deira, this was the first attraction I visited i the area. I noted shops and stores as I walked towards the Abra Station where I rode the local boat for 1 AED.
The boat ride was short, about 5-7 minutes. There is a Souq or a small market area where one can shop for clothings, spices, nuts, bags & luggages, jewelries, etc. Of course there are small restaurants along the creek and near the Souq.
I enjoyed my visit here. Highly recommended to visit here, when you get bored visiting high rise buildings.Written 21 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - tammyBaltimore_MdBaltimore, MD2,290 contributionsMy 2nd time to this huge mall but the biggest highlight in my opinion is the penguin experience within ski dubai, yes expensive but if you love penguins this is the place to go. Besides that I don't think there's nothing this mall doesn't have under its roof. Direct stop off the metro.

One of the most lovely experiences that you and your family will have if you visit Dubai.
Highly Recommended.Written 12 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - tammyBaltimore_MdBaltimore, MD2,290 contributionsCan get a little expensive depending on the packages you select but this place is pretty amazing especially the penguin experience, definitely worth it if you LOVE 🐧 penguins. Only negative is the extremely high prices to buy your pictures with since you can't take your own. That's how they get you.Written 22 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Alison BCalne, UK48 contributionsIncredible architecture and worth a visit just to see the building. Beautifully laid out exhibits and a joy to see then without it being busy. It does feel like you race through 12,000 years very quickly and there seems to be one painting by each famous artist for the modernists but nonetheless very enjoyable. The temporary Cartier exhibition was stunning.Written 24 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
