A tastefully renovated area of old Doha frequented by locals as well as tourists. A hive of activity every evening and closed during the early afternoon heat. Also closed in the mornings during Eid. Plenty air conditioning around and eateries frequented by locals are available as well as an international assortment of restaurants.

Rotating exhibits along side the main floors. Very interesting. The building is bigger than it looks from the outside.
    Excellent coffee shop for food.
    Great views across the bay.

The National Museum of Qatar is a museum that tells the story of Qatar in a world-class architectural facility. It’s has fantastic multi-visual displays including oral histories, traditional materials and handcrafts. The museum is absolutely modern, but with the Emir’s old palace on the grounds for balance and reinforcement of their historical journey. I have been twice, and imagine I will return again!

Nice experience on the beach. Certainly a place for lovers as well as family. Variety of cafés and restaurants. Also water sports. Picturesque scenes with a beautiful combination of architecture, sea and green hills.

The Corniche: a walk from the past to the future. The Corniche is a quite long walk (6.7 km) but it's worth it. You start from Souq Waqif (the past) with its unbelivable market and walk along the Corniche enjoying the sea breeze. In the distance you can see the futuristic tall buildings of the financial centre (the future). When you arrive in the modern area you have the opportunity to visit a big Mall for shopping and food in one of the restaurants insidie.
But if you prefer not walking you can take a taxi for only 5$.

I absolutely love the national library but especially the children's section with the play area.
Also want to mention that the librarians are super friendly and so helpful in finding the right books.
It is super clean and such a comfortable atmosphere.

Muhammed Yahya Taher was the Qari last year at this masjid and honestly, people were always in tears here. Tissue boxes were always near by and of course water. Qiyaam was also lovely. اللهم بارك ما شاء الله

It’s the best park with amazing Cornish view.
Visited it many times, mostly as solo and few times with friends.
It’s amazing for walks, and they had coffee shop, where you can sit and drink delicious coffee, enjoying the best view.
    Peaceful place.

This mall was attached to our hotel by hallways, very easy to access, not as much from the outside with all the landscaping work in progress at the time of the visit. The anchor Carrefour grocery store is very well organized and enabled us to have in-room meals of our liking.

The Falcon Souk is adjacent to Souq Waqif in Doha with lots of underground parking on site and a must see place for visitors and residents alike. Falconry is more than just a sport in Qatar and the Souk is an important centre for enthusiasts and suppliers of the sports accessories and a place where birds are auctioned for high sums. The Souk is predominately made up of shops selling the birds and equipment as well as a purpose built hospital. Only need 1 hour to visit but essential part of a visit to the main Souq Wafiq. Even for a resident who hasn’t visited for some time, it’s still an interesting place to revisit.
