- James S7 contributionsAfter having been lost countless times in various countries (LOL), we finally decided to take a travel blog’s advice and rent a portable Wifi. It made a TREMENDOUS difference. We rented from AllDayWifi for 8 days and ordered 2 museum passes. The whole experience unfolded without a hitch, including communication via email. We requested the passes and portable device be delivered to our hotel and everything waiting for us at the hotel when we arrived in Istanbul. The package included a carrying case, cable, Wifi unit, and portable charging station. Coverage was absolutely uninterrupted all over Istanbul, including our day trip to the Asian side. A couple of times the Wifi in our hotel went out, but our AllDayWifi was still working perfectly. We had 3 to 4 devices connected to it. I just can’t say enough good things about it. Basically, we will never travel abroad again without the benefit of some rented Wifi service. His tour company is called Sultanahmet Old City Travel and they are FANTASTIC!! I ordered my wifi on December 26, 2024 to be used for 5 days; no one showed up, and nothing was delivered. So I'm sure I got scammed. So, travelers, beware of this company.
