- Sightsee653096041365 contributionsMay need to get one of the foot massage they offer in many streets after, cause its huge, especially if also go outside to the cheap stalls , but it is worth it. Not just herbs , tea and spices and sweets but anything possible. - MarcSan Diego, CA5 contributionsI had an excellent experience at Prens Leather in Istanbul. I purchased two jackets—one directly off the rack and another custom-fitted. The sales team, particularly Gem, provided exceptional and individualized attention throughout the process.
The first jacket, a reversible suede piece perfect for spring weather, fit me perfectly straight off the rack. For the second jacket, which was slightly too long for my taste, Gem offered to have a custom version made. Impressively, the jacket was completed and ready for pick-up within just four days.
Both jackets are of outstanding quality, and I am tremendously pleased with the craftsmanship and service. This is long overdue. We had such a great experience shopping at Jennifer’s Hammam. We went in when we saw the Canadian flag in the window to buy kese, saw the beautiful towels and , after a great conversation with Haci, said we would be back. When we went back the next day, a lovely young man walked us the two blocks to the storehouse where Haci once again helped us with our purchases. Our looped cotton towels are magnificent. They are hand woven on looms by artisans who have had these skills passed down through the generations. Besides being beautiful, the quality is out of this world. They are so soft and absorbent!! I reached out to Jennifer after the first wash with a question and got a reply within the day, explaining how to care for the towels. Sinan is the designer-owner, offered top end Turkish hospitality, knowledge and a huge variety of Traditional Turkish shapes and designs. The items are strong, food safe, and come with an individually completed authenticity certificate for hand made items in Turkiye. Not only did I leave with the highest quality products available from the artisans, but I left with the treasure of friendship. And here we are. We jus got a very nice full leather tote bag from this shop, Mr. Mustafa is a very friendly and warm person and we had a good time at the shop. The selection is good n the price is reasonable with quality product you will get. Do drop by if u read this review, cos those good reviews helped us to get to this shop and they r valid 😁

We were drawn in my watching Hamit sitting outside with his cat, searching for just the right thread for a Persian rug from a massive ball of threads! We were graciously invited in and we were treated to an educational history of Persian rugs and Hamit’s work! We purchased several items (purses made from rugs that couldn’t be repaired) and I have ordered more of them twice since we returned to Nashville TN❤️ I can only describe Hamit’s work as very beautiful and full of grace.
