Azerbaijan, Baku, is beautiful country. U can go back in Time Machine & feel the old vibes. Be careful from taxi, drivers. They do it with foreigners scam. They will be ask you first 5 manat then later they will be charge you 7or 8 manat. Freely you ask me for any questions.

I read a couple reviews of this and notice how some people said a smell of oil from the Caspian Sea could be noticed here. For me that wasn’t true at all. Great place to relax and take a nice stroll and people watch

We really enjoy the night view of the tower from nearby the park and corniche. The looks of the tower itself are unique same as lotus.

Incredibly interesting place to visit unlike any other museum I have been to. The amount of information about the history of carpets was fascinating and the top floor has some particularly stunning pieces.

This is the place to meet the locals. It is such a lively place mainly on weekend when dozens of thousands are strolling around and in the nearby pedestrian street. The locals are nice, polite, hospitable and easy going. The fountains are nice as well but for me the human side was more impressive,

The Highland park is located on the highest point of Baku. From the terrace, you will have a fantastic panoramic view of the city and Caspean sea. If you are visiting Baku, never miss it. For the first time visitors, there is catch on how to get there. Are you fit and healthy to do 200 meters of stairs? Mostly not. There are two ways to get there. First, get a taxi and ask him to drop you near flame towers or Martyer mosque ( also knows as Turkish mosque). You can walk easily through Martyrs Line to the terrace of Highland park for breathtaking view of city. The second way to get there is from Baku boulevard. If you are fit and healthy, do stairs to get to the top Or use funicular from the Baku boulevard to get to the top. Nice restaurant on the top. Very convenient places to shoot photos with background of flame towers.

If you love the history of the country you are vising, then Ateshgah - fire temple is not to be missed. The pentagonal building used to be the place of worship for Zoorastrians, Hindus and Sikhs in the history. It symbolises the religious harmony and cultures in the past. It is said, the natural gas reserves below found place to come to surface and fire started. Now the fire is lit artificially by continuous supply through pipes in the altar in the centre of this building. At places, there are inscriptions in Sanskrit and Punjabi. There are cells in the building which were used for preaching, worshipping, tortures. It's located approximately 30 km from Baku. You will enjoy visiting this place if you read about it briefly before your intended visit

I have not visited it in almost 40 years so don't recall well if a lot more has been done in the museum but was nice to ascend the tower with each floor telling the continuation of the story. I still refer the fairytale of the maiden who leaped to her death for love than it just being a watch tower. The architecture outside is just stunning and the view from the top is great.

One of the most WOW places in Baku, mainly at night. We were there in the evening when the lights were on. I would have given both the architect and the lights engineer an international prize for their amazing project,

The place is still standing high, physically and geographically at the top. I had been there at that place three years ago. I found it last time and this time remain great with many visitors.

This is one of the attractions which is worth visiting during the night time. Baku is a windy city so the speed of the Ferris wheel is very slow but the beauty around the place will keep you mesmerized and you won’t realize when the ride gets over. One can have breathe taking view of iconic flaming towers from here.
