The lady in the shop was really professional showing me all the art works from ground floor to the third floor. I had a good experience in admiring the art. Make sure you go upstairs to see the amazing lacquer pieces! They rolled it up for me after I negotiated from $90 to $82 I think… I had it on my shoulder for a few countries, then Hawaii, and back home. - MillyyyyymooHue, Vietnam11 contributionsAfter our overnight train journey from Hue to Hanoi we had booked this place for one night’s stay until we moved on to Ha Long bay the following day. We arrived at the specified check in time and were quickly greeted and shown to our room. We had booked the large guest house for up to 20 travellers to find that we had the whole room to ourselves 👍🏼 very clean and traditional looking with comfy beds and fans around the room. The pool area was clean and in good condition with the naturalistic surroundings adding that feeling of seclusion. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would have given 5* if they hadn’t assumed us English guests wanted fried egg on toast for breakfast while other Asian guests got some great looking Pho! - Fed F1 contributionD&C Art Collection has an excellent range of Vietnamese and European art collections. Although, the saga of COVID-19 has spelled its negative impact on business activities world-wide, the self determination of D&C management refused yield. Thus, continued exhibition of marvelous art work. Enjoyed dealing with the Lady owner. She has a full conceptualization of Vietnamse and Western art work. Above all, the lady is remarkably honest and offer great prices for the for treasures of art work she has. - bel_alcatNew Delhi, India295 contributionsYNOT is a place that has everyday art, aka furniture and decorations made in an artisanal way by local Vietnamese craftspeople and artists. Visiting this store will remind you that beauty can be also practical.
Marie, Kien and their team are lovely, know how to listen and also give interesting suggestions concerning materials and design. Their products can be seen in their website, but visiting in person is well worth the time.
