- m h1 contributionWe went in around 10 pm. No cover charge for girls also free drinks all night off of their card menu. Card menu was 10 basic drinks, ie gin tonic, vodka soda, rum&coke. Not sure if it was only free drinks for girls or if it's free for guys too. Lots of bartenders, never had to wait very long. There were male gogo dancers. Sound system and decor was pretty cool. I went inside to eat freshly cooked bun ma food
Staff always willing to help and make space
While outside massive pedestrian congestion,single file and squeezed past bars + restaurant.

- Jason C26 contributionsA fantastic Jazz bar tucked in behind the Opera house. Nice and cozy with a great atmosphere and the night when I was there they had some fantastic live acts. Drinks are more expensive than average but this is more of a place to sit back and enjoy the music sipping on a cocktail than drinking to get drunk. - Brian H8 contributionsDotted about in Hanoi are Bia Hoi shops. These are drinking places that only sell beer ( food too) and are usually only populated by the local inhabitants. They are rough and ready, a bit smokey but we didn't feel at all unwelcome in the couple we visited. The beer is poured out of a jug into your glasses and is freshly brewed and just ready for drinking and also quite tasty. The cost per glass when we were there was 18 Vietnamese dong very cheap.
