Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing place to visit while in Bangkok. They make you wear a helmet. You need to cover your legs, they do rent sarongs for $3.00 US dollars. You go in groups with a guide according to the language you speak, very informative. Souvenir shop and restaurant on premises.

To understand the level of prostitution in Thailand fully, a place like Walking Street, is a good place to start. During day time it can be visited with kids, as a quick walk through, as the area doesn’t unfold entirely untill after 20.00 in the evening.

From then on the madness begins, with countless girls in mini skirts hollering at bypassers to get them into their go-go bars, or bars build up around the lady drink approach to prostitution.

Weed shops are spread out every
where along the strip and lets its visitors slip into a haze of smoke, drinks, bizar sex shows and girls at various prices.

The whole go-go bar phenomenon is taking vulgarity to new places, as the girls are lined up inside the bars with numbers, stacked together like cattle on podiums for interested buyers to choose from.

With this being said and from the perspective of a foreigner, who just came to have fun getting wasted on his vacation, Walking Street is, an unbelievable sight and a fun place to hang out and go people watching.

The place is designed for you to loose your mind and get scammed for a good deal of your holiday savings that’s for sure.

A wise choice could be not to get too wasted, and stay alert.

always nice to take a relaxing walk, be it at night, be it in the morning (midday sun will kill you). about 5 years ago and again 4 years ago they upgraded the beach bloulevard (sea side). They removed the hangaround spots, like chairs which itself is a pity, however the boulevard itself is more spacious, wider and they made the beach far more attractive by widening the beach (add sand mike it much more enjoyable). So it is fun to walk. Unfortunately the loud "barside"still is a complete desaster with traditional beerbars, load music and "hostesses". Still work to do there. Moreover there still too many "freelance hostesses" on beach side. And it is not safe for teen girls to walk alone. My 12yo daughter was approched by several "monguls" asking her how much. She got scrared and confused. Pattaya police should beat the crap out of these creaps (to my opinion). There are lots of police on the beach but they are inactive, hiding on the motorbike behind signs and stuff they are doing litterally nothing but waiting for there shift to end. No pro-active preventive clearly visible presence. To my opinion they should servey by food or on bike the beachroad, see and act rather than "hanging around" killing the shift. It works in downtown Amsterdam it should work in down town Pattaya.

If it was not for the many restaurants, this would be like most entertainment districts. You can get a quality meal at a reasonable price. The bar setup is like all others in the city.

Buddhist temple complex with resident monks founded in 1937 with a massage school.
in Pattaya near Walking Street.. frequented by many locals , but it seems that many tourists
It's worth a look if you are near to it. But I wouldn't recommend making a special journey just to see this place.

If you visit Pattaya, you should probably visit this spot. You will get a panoramic view over Pattaya. There is also a monument of Admiral Krom Luang and people use firecrackers to pay respect to him.

There is something surreal about eating your meal under the wings of a jumbo jet, but that is exactly what you can do here. A retired Thai Airline Boeing 747 was taken here in sections, then re-assembled, and a large street food market was set up around it. There are lots of food outlets with a wide range of dishes, some very good seafood ones, a couple serving crocodile, and if you are adventurous you can try spiders, worms, crickets and other insects. Not for me! There is live music, some amusements at the bottom of the site, and also a small market selling clothing and much more, so you can spend an evening here.

This is a sacred place for the local people, even though here is Pattaya, please dress decently.

The monument is dedicated to an Admiral, and many local come here to pray and ask for blessing or good lucks.

There's a cafe nearby for you to have a drink and enjoy the view of Pattaya City.

The map location on TA seem wrong. The mini world (Mini Siam) is located just at the northern city limit of Pattaya on Sukumvit road. Worth a visit anyway. Entrance is 300 THB

Great job! The producers should be proud.

This 90 minutes impressive grand show performs at SINGHA D’LUCK Cinematic Theatre, the notable glittering building that looks levitate in air!

Theme of the show is about the adventure of a young man (Mr.Kaan) who fell into the fantasy world of Thai literature through the book and his quest to collect all parts of the broken key which brought him back home.

Every scenes are magnificent. All dedicated performers are amazing. For ones who used to read Thai literature, that's really hits home! (For ones who don't, this show is still awesome).

Taking photo is not allowed during the show, but ones can take some photos with performers and scenes after the show (extra 100 bath/person with unlimited photos). Furthermore, there are many cutie souvenirs sold in the shop.

Luckily, there was a promotion "buy 1 get 1 free" at the time when we attended (best value, should follow their facebook to find some promotion).

A big thumbs up to this 5 stars world-class show ! Truly recommend.

This clock tower is located near the Bali Hai pier to commemorate an international Lions meeting held in Pattaya in 2006. The tower is about 15m high, has four clock faces on four sides, but as far as I could tell didn't give the local time.
