There was alot of opertunity for food and deals in the market when buying jewelry, clothes etc available. Walked on the beach and saw a bit of the fireshow from a beachfront resturant. Looking for a ethical experience with animals is always difficult and we were nervous incase we had booked a tour which felt unethical. This exceeded our expectations on all levels, if you are looking for the most ethical elephant experience then this is the place, the priority was the elephants not the people. It was very windy while we were there so we didn't go swimming in the water but wandering up the beach was pleasant.

On return this year, the water is not as clear at all and there was rubbish and plastic everywhere on the sand. It’s a real shame I’m not sure what’s happened. There is something for everyone. There are individual shops and the biggest branded one was H&M. It is also children friendly. They have made a nice garden in the centre which was very well lighted.

The food stalls were cheap and good quality and tge souvenir and clothes stalk hd good quality and plenty of room for Barterring.
