Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stunning temple but crowded with visitors. Huge gold leaf covered domes and ornate Buddha shrines. Don’t t let the crowds put you off though as it’s a must see and may be a lot quieter on a different day (we visited on a Sunday).

    Surrounded by forest

    Peaceful place

    Lovely ambience

Some nice architecture- but it is the natural location that will impress

A very amazing and impressive moment. Both the people and the culture of the local people I exceeded my and my friends' expectations. Even though people from all over the world come to visit. But it didn't feel uncomfortable at all.

The wooden pathway made it very easy to walk up the trail. Waterfall was great, beautiful views. Lots of picnic and swim spots. Areas surrounding each cascade remained in nature state, no rubbish in sight which was delightful, however, the food shops at parking 3 were run down and badly maintained. That whole area and the toilets need a major upgrade. It was terrifying. If my comments are solely based on the waterfall, then yes…it’s worth the visit.

Absolutely perfect!!! My wife and I did the royal honeymoon package together and it was the best massage either of us have ever had. Our therapists, Muoya and Nong, were spectacular! They went above and beyond to make it perfect. And big shoutout to May at reception for helping us get set up and see to it that we were taken care of. Thank thank you!!

We strolled round the park enjoying the greenery and water. We bought fish food to feed the koi carp from one of the pretty white bridges. There are toilets and at least one cafe.

Such an amazing cooking class, exceeded our expectations and the food was delicious!! Did the morning cooking session with Amy and she was amazing. She took time to answer any questions the group had and was so authentic and funny. The dishes we cooked were great and I’m excited to cook them when I return home. I added a tad too much spice to my dish and Amy was like a magician and was able to balance the flavours to fix it. The trip to the market was the perfect way to start off the class and we learnt a lot about each flavour going into our dish and alternatives that we could use in our home countries. The variety of dishes you could choose was amazing and there was something for everyone. The class is definitely one of my favourite highlights of Thailand, I would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Chiang Mai!

Bhubing Palace is a royal winter residence built to accommodate the royal family during their visits to Chiang Mai. We reached here, as part of a taxi tour of Wat Doi Suthep, and other temples on the west of the Chiang Mai Old Town. It is about 6km from Wat Doi Suthep. Entry to the place is by purchase of a ticket priced at 50Baht. You must be properly attired, shoulders covered and with long pants, or you may be given a pants to cover up before entry to the compound.
There are a number of buildings here. There is a log cabin which is the seasonal residence of the royal princess, a eucalyptus wood log cabin which is the seasonal residence of crown prince, a two storey royal Guesthouse, a teak wood pavilion, a fern garden, and a water reservoir. The gardens with various flowering plants, including roses are well landscaped, well maintained, clean quiet and peaceful away from noise. There are sign boards explaining the various buildings here. We were there in the morning, and the weather was pleasant due to the elevation and the surroundings. We spent about one and a half hours, here to look around and capture some pictures. Our visit here was worthwhile.

We went with miss Puang to sticky waterfall as a private group of two.
She and her husband korn offer small and large group tours, but we opted for a more personal experience.
Very pleased with our trip, and being a private tour, we could choose when and where to visit along the route.
Puang is very knowledgeable, so we learned a lot about the longneck Karen’s who we visited en route to the waterfalls.
The one big advantage is Puang and korn can help with things like ordering food etc.
Korn even arranged for my wife to get her hair cut and for us to have traditional sak yants with a monk.
We will definitely use them for any trips we plan to take around Chiang Mai when we come back.
    A really good recommended company.
