Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- GardenerrichSandown, UK258 contributionsWe went with miss Puang to sticky waterfall as a private group of two.
She and her husband korn offer small and large group tours, but we opted for a more personal experience.
Very pleased with our trip, and being a private tour, we could choose when and where to visit along the route.
Puang is very knowledgeable, so we learned a lot about the longneck Karen’s who we visited en route to the waterfalls.
The one big advantage is Puang and korn can help with things like ordering food etc.
Korn even arranged for my wife to get her hair cut and for us to have traditional sak yants with a monk.
We will definitely use them for any trips we plan to take around Chiang Mai when we come back.
A really good recommended company.Written 22 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There were also shows and entertainment and most of the Thais love it . As
a foreigner, I learned to respect the Thai culture and enjoyed watching splashing water using water guns and buckets although not all people wanted to be wet. I think if you don't like to be wet avoid the areas where everyone played the water festival.Written 18 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We loved our visits to the gym where we received excellent attention and instruction from the staff and amazing support from the other students and fighters. Our kids (8, 10, 12) were shown trust and respect and were encouraged to work hard and participate in all aspects of the gym. We want to recommend this gym for anyone interested in exploring or developing Muy Thai technique in Chiang Mai.Written 27 May 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - April JeanWashington167 contributionsI went only because my friend wanted me to join her. Even if it's a sanctuary, you have to stop and think about the animals that are being used daily for humans egotistical ways. I was actually okay at first and was enjoying it until the end when the elephants got into the water and I saw one of the men pull on the elephants ears to get him to lay down in the water. I was done after that and was ready to go. These animals are not free and are still treated like circus animals. I think the only support is to not to go to any of these at all. The one thing I did love was the area. Al of the greenery around you was just amazing! - James ThompsonLeyland, UK15 contributionsFantastic service. The bike I hire was a Honda 350 scooter, a bigger scooter so more expensive but well worth it. Loads of room and good cruiser.Written 14 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Paris Wilson9 contributionsAmazing and easy experience with bamboo bikes. Clash was super friendly, helpful and laid back with everything which made the whole process enjoyable. We rented the bike for 3 days initially to ride to pai and back and extended it an extra day with no problems atall. Couldn’t reccomend enough. We told all our friends to go there too and they also feel the same! Cheapest in town too!

- Henry SandhamEngland, UK12 contributionsAbsolutely fantastic, it was around 5 so nobody was there, I did 2 rounds in a regular kart, got shouted at by my mum for going too fast, did another round after that in a faster kart, hit a barrier (my fault) and then crashed again a few laps later (also my fault) but this time into the field at the last corner. Hit a rock and slid basically, rock hit my knuckle, tiny cut, doing fine. Stuck with the regular karts and everything went good. However, the track is extremely bumpy on the first 2 corners and the final long right hander (where I crashed), in the fast kart, I could barely control it in the first 2 corners, too bumpy and my foot would slip and my hands were doing overtime with steering. Regular karts were very responsive and great to drive. Staff were also super friendly and helpful, even going as far as following me In their kart when I was in the fast one to make sure I was okay (I still crashed). Helmets were also a great fit, jacket was good and gloves, if full fingered, would be fantastic. But really, they gotta fix the bumps on that track and add a kerb to the inside of the final corner. Oh and this was my first time there and I got feedback from staff and family saying I was extremely quick, in fact My mum said she was so worried about me. And final thing I recommend for the staff is to add barriers on the corner I crashed at. Final rating 4/5 or 8.5/10. Great time, needs work.Written 5 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Steve T45 contributionsWe visited Patara in December 2024 and it was everything we could've hoped for. My family enjoyed learning about the elephants themselves, the conservation efforts underway, and then the private tour. We got to spend quality, intimate, time with three different elephants, including bathing them in the river, and feeding them all the sugarcane they could eat! This was an enjoyable day in every way possible.Written 9 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

Simon, our guide, was amazing. He took care of us the whole time, including driving and helping with meals. He was the best guide we had in Thailand.
We had an amazing time in the treehouse, it’s truly a once in a lifetime view and experience. Food was great as well. The elephant sanctuary was by far the highlight though, where we were lucky and had a private hike with two elephants. The whole experience was fantastic. If we did this again, we probably would opt to do a different itinerary the first day. Even though the temples were great, it was a long day of driving.
Thank you Simon for an amazing time, we’ll remember this trip forever!Written 7 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
