Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It is an easy trail and a relatively short hike. I love the trek through lush forest and cross streams. I can literary sit all day on the tranquil temple grounds, only if i bring my coffee drink along. You can also catch a view of the city from there. The statues have a "tomb raider" feel to it.

The guides were great and you get lots of time with the elephants both feeding and hiking. Lunch was a good Thai homestyle meal.

I had just completed the Wat Pha Lat Monk’s trail, visited the temple complex and decided to press on with climbing up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep via the Monk’s trail. This is a 3 km route climbing some of steepest terrain I’ve ever hiked and I hike a lot. Combined with the heat and humidity, it’s extremely challenging.

This was the most perfect experience.Everybody was very friendly and polite and gave us plenty of time and space with the big friends. We could not have asked for more and will always look back on this memory with a full heart of joy.

Our trip was fantastic! He does not only do coffee trip, but also private tours. We visited a temple and delivered food to the monks, followed by a visit to the Longneck Village. After that we enjoyed a delicious Thai lunch.
Later, we explored the Sticky Waterfalls. We walked from bottom to top through the water, which was so much fun. Our day was truly amazing, all thanks to Jack and his wife. The guide was extremely friendly, spoke excellent English, and could explain everything to us. We wholeheartedly recommend him!"

I joined the Karen Land of Rice 2 day trek a couple of weeks ago, and it was fantastic in every respect. Our guide, Share, was a naturalist as much as a hiking guide, and was constantly pointing out plants and animals, and many other interesting things that we passed. Every meal was really great, and the village stay was comfortable, engaging and authentic. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations, and I would look for forward to any opportunity I had to trek/run with TMT again!

Amazing place, stunning location in the middle of the jungle. Small centre (only 2 elephants) owned by a family. It was a group of 9 of us and it felt very authentic and natural to interact with the elephants. You get to feed them, walk with them and wash them with mud (so much fun!).
Half day is good I think.1600 baht which is cheaper than the big centers around Chiang Mai.
Also south of the city where there is less traffic. About 1 hour to get there.
    Highly recommended!
