Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was the best experience we had in Chiang Mai from start to finish! The guides were all so kind, funny and professional throughout. Our guide, Bank, was brilliant. We felt so safe throughout. The food was delicious and plentiful and seeing/swimming in the local waterfall was incredible. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

This was hands down the highlight of our three week adventure to Thailand. Tom picked us up and drove us up to Khampan Rafting where he gave us a great safely run down. Then we set off in our raft with guides Aun and Bank with Tom as a kayak guide right beside us. We could tell they all love their jobs and they were so inclusive. We rafted for 10km and had a blast the whole way, plus we got to see tons of elephants near the waters edge. There were also plenty of staff near by the rapids to take pictures and for additional safety measures.

After rafting we stopped for a delicious lunch and then Tom took us out to go for a small hike and see a waterfall. Everything was as beautiful and Tom taught us a ton of about the local flora and fauna. We had an absolute blast and would recommend this to anyone that was looking to do some rafting in Chiang Mai!

This was a highlight of my time in Chiang Mai. Our guide, “Jane”, was OUTSTANDING. For him, his expertise, knowledge, patience and personality, I give 5 full stars. I told him that had only kayaked once before and he was careful to stay near me while on the water, helping me feel safe and confident. The only issue I had was the fact that Trip Advisor did not accurately advertise the price of the excursion and I had to pay additionally on site. This is not how trips should be handled and I would have appreciate the website being transparent. Othetwise, I much enjoyed the evening.

Superb day. Family of 4 (including 2 children aged 11 and 9). We took 2 kayaks out and were out on the water for 2.5-3 hours along an 18km stretch of river. Beautiful scenery - we even saw water buffalo and kingfishers. Jenny the guide was amazing and was a brilliant help with the kids especially. Highly recommended - would do again if and when I come back to Chiang Mai.

It was well organized, with dedication for safety. We had a wondefull day. Thank you team. Only remark is that you need to take into account that the 3 hr rafting experience takes up to 7 hr including transfers and lunch.

Nice and recommended trip. Good guiding through rice fields, little villages and a calm river. Timing was a bit awkward as lunch was planned after kajaking at 4pm

I happily recommend this trip. First we went to tour a large cave followed by lunch. Then we drove to the start of the kayak trip down the Ping river for a couple of hours. I loved just drifting in the kayak watching the birds and forest pass by. Staff was great.

We only did the Grand Canyon. It was the best water park my three children (13,9,9) have been to with a great variety of things to do and very good value. The wake boarding is so good for learners that we went back for a dedicated two hour session.

Just finished a full day kayaking down the river. Our guide was spot on, great teacher and I learned lots. Got my confidence built right up before getting too far down the river.
Took lots of pictures and helped us through any tough spots. Have very little kayaking experience I would highly recommend everyone to do this tour... it’s the best way to see the jungle.... passed lots of elephants and had a good lunch at the half way point!
Will be doing another advanced tour in my future

Also you can grab an amazing cup of coffee in the morning from the little shop across the parking lot

10 stars if it would let me !!!!! Don’t leave Chiang Mai without doing this tour !!!!

Amazing day jam packed with activities. The day started with a beautiful and informative bike ride around the Chiang Mai countryside, complete with a stop by the rice fields to check out the rice growing process. We then kayaked across the stunning lake to the floating houses where we ate a delicious lunch (plenty of food to go around!). Pan was an amazing tour guide - informative, funny and genuine. Sarah was an excellent addition to the team and got some spectacular photos. Would highly recommend this team.

Lovely day on the river! I've only ever done SUP on the ocean so the river current was actually much easier to manage than ocean waves!
Lunch is very late (3pm?) so bring a snack! Also found it handy to have a dry bag (can be easily purchased at Night Bazzar or Worarot Market if you forgot yours at home, like me). Didn't need for falling in (because I didn't and the river is pretty shallow anyway), but because one of the guides very cheekily cooled us down with large splashes!
Sunscreen, rashie, hat - slip, slop, slap! The river doesn't have much shade, so it's a hot time going down most of the year!

We were a family of 6 people. We are not used to as much shouting and yelling as we experienced on the trip. Otherwise, the trip down the river was a great experience.
