Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome experience, real rescue parc for the elephants, they take the time to explain how they and the elephants work. You all get uniforms as the elephants are used to them and trust them, so then we went on a walk with the elephants fully in liberty. They could go where they want and we were following. Then they took a bath and we helped to wash them.

Was really nice experience. Watch out for other fake places, here they really buy the elephants and don't rent them for the tourist attraction.

Also shout out to Andy our awesome guide! Was really best experience ever! We could touch and hug with the elephants and they were really nice. Would recommend to anyone!

Ps lunch was really good as well (we did the half day morning tour)

went for an amazing half day tour with eddie. both the elephants were incredible, very cute and friendly. eddie ensures they are well looked after and that we didn’t overwhelm them, you can tell he genuinely cares for the welfare of these animals. the tour was just me and my friend which made for a really personal experience with both tomato and papaya. would definitely recommend this sanctuary if you are concerned with the ethics of seeing elephants :)

We did the half day morning elephant excursion and loved it! We were the only 2 on our tour, and after a nice drive through the countryside, we got to make food for the two elephants, feed them, then hike with them down to the river. We watched them eat for at least 45 minutes, then watched them bathe in the river, then feed them again. Lots of opportunities for pictures and videos and respectful interaction with the elephants. Our guide Toto taught us so much about the elephants and their keepers. We ended the morning with a delicious lunch and comfortable drive back to our hotel. This was a very special day!

We loved it! Found this sanctuary on a responsible tourism site as it was important to me that we visited an ethical elephant place. The relationship between the elephants and the staff is clearly a loving one and we felt safe throughout the day… even when we were very up close.
It is hard to really do the day justice with words, but we will treasure the experience for many years.
Communication was great and the collection/organisation excellent. Lovely lunch and water also provided. Great value for money.

We went with miss Puang to sticky waterfall as a private group of two.
She and her husband korn offer small and large group tours, but we opted for a more personal experience.
Very pleased with our trip, and being a private tour, we could choose when and where to visit along the route.
Puang is very knowledgeable, so we learned a lot about the longneck Karen’s who we visited en route to the waterfalls.
The one big advantage is Puang and korn can help with things like ordering food etc.
Korn even arranged for my wife to get her hair cut and for us to have traditional sak yants with a monk.
We will definitely use them for any trips we plan to take around Chiang Mai when we come back.
    A really good recommended company.

Although this is a great zoo to go round on the truck at night we didn’t realise it was not ethical as our hotel didn’t not tell us. The tiger show especially was hard to watch as the tigers were clearly scared of the keepers and we then regret going. There is hardly anywhere to get food. The water show is okay and it’s nice to see so many animals but a lot of the pens were really small and when you drive past they shine a light in the animals faces.
Not sure I would recommend giving money to a organisation like this if I knew before I went. The elephant and bear were also trained to wave at us which is clearly not natural.

We are a family from Korea .
Guide 'Rocky' was nice and his explanation was easy to understand. Also the elephants were very cute and fun seeing them eat the food l give to them. Riding the raft was also really fun and interesting.

What an enjoyable day! Fabulous day with the elephants hosted by great, friendly staff!. Top that off with a class on cooking then enjoying Pad Thai and Papaya salad. And no commercial sales pitch to buy souvenirs.

The guides were great and you get lots of time with the elephants both feeding and hiking. Lunch was a good Thai homestyle meal.

Hotel located in the jungle. The hotelcstaff is nice and helpfull. But the service is provided like untill 22:00. The dinner and breakfast are very nice and good. You can govto the bar which offers Yiu some drinks wine and beer. But if tehere is a big group it takes some time to be serviced. Nice night show of local tribe. It was lovely! Nevertheless the rooms are in a poor condition. It really needs some upgrades to be done. Thers is a little bottlenof soap and shampoo. There is no safe in the room. No airconditikn. No Tv. No other facilities. So be prepared to live in a old version of accommodation.

I went only because my friend wanted me to join her. Even if it's a sanctuary, you have to stop and think about the animals that are being used daily for humans egotistical ways. I was actually okay at first and was enjoying it until the end when the elephants got into the water and I saw one of the men pull on the elephants ears to get him to lay down in the water. I was done after that and was ready to go. These animals are not free and are still treated like circus animals. I think the only support is to not to go to any of these at all. The one thing I did love was the area. Al of the greenery around you was just amazing! I love nature
