Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is my second visit to Chiang Rai, but this time I was here, Chiang Mai, with my family in laws. They are the first time to visit Chiang Rai. It is 12 hours tour to come back to Chiang My. It's a long journey for them, since they are in their sixties and seventies. I wanted to show this beautiful temple to my family. They were really amazed and enjoyed the private tour. Our tour guide Jackie was always kind and tried to help us. THANKS to her my family had a really memorable experiences in Chiang Rai.

When you visit Chiang My and want some activities or tours, contect Elle Eee Travel Agency. It would never disappoint you.

We did a private tour with the guide JJ. He was very good, he gave us a lot of information and background about the temples and the area. He was very personable and made the tour interesting. I would highly recommend it, it is worth seeing and having a tour so you get the background information.

We enjoyed immensely our private tour with Aei of the old city of Chang Mai.
Being a long time local Aei took us off the well worn tour route and we were able to immerse ourselves in the back streets and local eateries that one time visitors would normally miss, and which add so much to the experience.

Aei was polite, informative and enthusiastic with impeccable English to boot. We could not recommend her enough,

Quite a fun food tour - and we have done a LOT of them. A little chaotic - Interesting local food and locations in the old town.

Guide was experienced and worked hard to include everyone

After a quick test drive near the main lobby area, it was adventure time! We spent 3 hours trekking from the river to the top of a mountain. The experience was one I will not forget.

This was an excellent tour and highly recommend. Sara was a wonderful host and a wealth of knowledge. We had a great day exploring Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle. This was a lot of traveling to do by car in one day but our hosts made us feel comfortable the entire time.

Great opportunity to try proper downhill MTB. Definitely not for the faint of heart as its a steep and bumpy ride. Fun day out all round. Would be better if there were larger option bikes available; they all seemed to be M size so it was difficult to pedal uphill on the few occasions that was needed.

If you’re going to a Thailand you’ve got to take this tour. It was absolutely amazing to meet villagers and see the butterflies and orchid farm, and cave. Truly one of the best tours I’ve taken. One of the reasons this cultural tour was great is because my guide, Tik, answered my many questions about experiences on the tour and about Thailand. His spoken english is fantastic. I’ve been on tours where you can’t understand the guide so this is very important to me. I didn’t want today to end. Truly life changing. I wish everyone could book a tour with Tik because he is so good!!

I was lucky enough to be the only person on my tour with Farm, an excellent guide. He told me a lot about the region, and pointed out plenty of birds and livestock for me when I told him I liked animals.

This is not a tour for someone who isn’t fit; 55km is a long cycle, and it’s not easy, comfortable roads. However the areas are mostly so quiet and tranquil, that even though you’re really getting a work out it’s peaceful too!

Stopping at a few temples and learning more about Buddhism was an added bonus.

Please note that about 1/4 of the ride is on city streets and while it’s not Bangkok you should still be confident about riding around traffic. I never felt in danger though, and Farm had great communication all day.

Oola was our tour guide and she was AMAZING!! Not only did we see the sites, but I feel like I learned so much about Thailand, its history and Buddhism. We asked to stop for a coffee and she took us to unbelievable tiny shop with the best coffee I’ve had here so far. Just a well paced and super informative tour. 11 out of 10!

Great experience with the guys. We did the ATV tour and the white water rafting. Even though it was only me and my friend on the river they made such an effort and we had a team of 5 with us. Lunch was excellent. No complaints!
