Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- DdsKuala Lumpur, Malaysia335 contributionsUnlike the usual touristy clothes and stuff sold at the night markets, the stuff sold at this market are rather upscale, unique, pricy too. Lots to see, clothes, food, souvenirs etc.Written 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Eugene NyuntBangkok, Thailand982 contributionsCovered ตลาด positioned around cinco minutes norte de Chiang Mai, where el suelo and las encimeras are unbroken tile making them very straightforward to clean and maintain. So great hygiene in a ตลาด which specialises in foodstuffs - mainly prepared items including แกง, stir fries and grilled dead တိရိစ္ဆာန်။
Very little ภาษาอังกฤษ labelling so you’ll need to be careful if you’re เจ/သက်သတ်လွတ်/vegano, since even a lot of the stir fries for instance have bits of dismembered animals ဟင်းသီဟင်းရွက်များအောက်မှာရှိတယ်။
One end of the covered mercado is devoted to fresh produce - ผัก y သစ်သီး - but in my experience their presence isn’t always as regular as the prepared foods vendedores. No hay asientos.Written 5 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The market is so full of fresh produce and fish and beef and pork. The suppliers are independent and set up their stalls in the market. It was an amazing experience.Written 8 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
