I was looking forward to visiting this museum. It was as beautiful as I expected. This museum displays paintings, statues, and some artifacts from several countries such as India, Thailand, and Britain.
    Cons :
1-Unorganized, for example, in a hall you can find a surrealist painting and a portrait painting
2- There is no classification in the tickets, as some collectibles are for adults only
3- Museum not on the BTS route.

    Pros:
    1-Cheap ticket.
    2-Friendly and helpful staff.
3-Many of the visitors are students of the College of Fine Arts or those who know art, and it is nice to talk to them about the paintings.
4-Taxi stops near the museum gate.

    100% worth visit.

My second visit to Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen, an amazing temple. In July 2023 there were less tourist around but even this time on a Sunday it was not too crowded. I took the MRT to Bang Phai station, Exit 1, and then down the stairs or with the elevator, it takes about 15 minutes to reach the pedestrian bridge over the canal, and then to the grounds of the temple. There is the Meili Café near to the bridge, good espresso and brownies.
There is so much to see at this temple, of course the giant Buddha statue is the main object for pictures. From the pagoda which is behind the Buddha pictures of the area can be taken. In the pagoda there are several levels to climb up the stairs, definitely worthwhile to do.
Several foreign women walked around with very tight shorts and bustier, unfortunately the Thais are too shy to tell them that wearing such dress is very disrespectful.

This is amazing, the information on the tsunami was very interesting.
Its graphic and not for children but if medical background will find reallly good.
I left hubby out front. Was dissapoinyed a lot of pieces were in loan to another museum.
Seeing road accident victims was totally different toseeing them in hospital.
I found it fascinating and imformative but others are grossed out.
Didnt feel right to take photos and some places reuesting not too.
If in medical field would probably like better than others.

If you don’t mind the spiral stairs, the long walk up has an amazing view of Bangkok and its surrounding buildings. The temple itself is a little spacey.

Khlong Toei Market is one of Bangkok's most bustling and authentic local markets. It offers a wide range of fresh produce, meats, seafood, and various household items at affordable prices. The vibrant atmosphere, with its lively vendors and energetic buyers, gives a glimpse into the daily lives of the local community. While it may be chaotic and crowded, it’s a must-visit for those seeking a raw, unfiltered experience of Bangkok's street markets.

    Second time here.
The place is just lovely to sip cold sugar cane juice and spend a few hours but don’t forget to visit the artisans around the area too.

Suan Pakkad or cabbage garden used to be the house of the grandson of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) but is now a museum. There are 8 rooms connected into a spacious house. In the rooms many artefacts from different countries and periods, not only Thai. Pottery, jewellery, carvings, musical instruments etc. Not a typical tourist place, so quiet. If you want to enjoy something different I could recommend to spend around 2 hours here. Photography inside is not allowed and entrance fee is 100 baht.

A nice kinda "Museum" more an original house, where someone lived inside long times ago.
It´s a good place to calm down and imagine the life in Bangkok nearly 80 years ago.
The staff is so friendly and can explain some things in english, if you ask.
You can watch the origin items, they´ve used or where used around 1930.
It´s completly free, you only have to sign in and if you leave a tip, they will be happy

Absolutely fabulous cooking experience, started with a visit to a traditional market which was a highlight, fresh fruit and veg but also some pretty unusual meat and seafood. We then went back to the school to cook and then devour 3 meals (Thai beef salad, Pad Thai and Green Curry Chicken) Followed by a taste of around 12 exotic fruits and mango sticky rice. Was such a great experience, lovely staff and very well organised. Highly recommend
