Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- cakes spaces5 contributionsThe mall is massive and has a wide range of stores, from luxury brands to more affordable options. The food options is impressive, offering a selection of cuisines that cater to all tastes. The mall is also home to some great attractions, like the aquarium and cinema, making it a fun spot for both shopping and entertainment. However, it can get very crowded, especially on weekends, which can make navigating the mall a bit overwhelming. Despite the crowds, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Bangkok. Overall, a great shopping experience!Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Toru OSetagaya, Japan3,188 contributionsThe residence of the former Thai silk baron that now serves as a museum with a guided tour of the residence. Offers an insight on the life of the Thai silk brand’s founder and how he managed to create a world class brand. It also has an adjoining exhibit, a restaurant, and a gift shop.Written 12 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Htet Htlan HtaySingapore, Singapore15 contributionsMassive mall. Despite being an expert navigator and planner, I lost track of time and my sense of direction. However, being a big mall, it has so much to offer and you can spend an entire day there just shopping and eating many AUTHENTIC Thai food as well. Beware of the massive price inflation in this mall for everything as it is a tourist destination.Written 1 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HilsNZAuckland, New Zealand326 contributionsI went to this new shopping mall on a boat from our hotel with no expectations.
It has the wow factor, with all the designer stores, some medium shops and the markets/supermarket down underneath.
The only problem was I kept getting lost in the markets and couldn't find the wharf. I asked for directions but not many spoke English.Written 9 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Located in the lively Pratunam district, this massive indoor mall is packed with hundreds of stalls offering a wide range of trendy clothing, accessories, shoes, and bags at affordable prices.
The mall is known for its great deals, especially if you buy in bulk, and haggling is common, though prices are generally already low. The quality varies, so you can find everything from high-street fashion to more budget-friendly items.
Shopping here can easily take up your whole day, but don’t worry—there’s a food court on the top floor with a variety of tasty and affordable options, plus plenty of cafes for a quick break.
Located near other popular shopping spots and easily accessible by public transport, Platinum Fashion Mall is a must-visit if you’re looking to score some fashionable finds without spending a fortune. Just be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends!
It is a must visit if you are looking for affordable clothes with good quality.Written 29 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hungry-sailor86San Fernando La Union, Philippines712 contributionsThis is a good aquarium though seems to be smaller than some that i have been to. It filled up a good hour or so and the kids loved the penguins and otters. The shark tunnel is also a highlight. The ticket is good value when bought with madame tussads together. It was a little unclear what time feeding times were and once inside staff were not very visible. A rainforest area has a few reptiles and so on but is not bery impressive but otherwise its a good hot or rainy day activity for the kids.Written 22 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TaherAlbaghliJulianKuwait City, Kuwait1,923 contributionsI was looking forward to visiting this museum. It was as beautiful as I expected. This museum displays paintings, statues, and some artifacts from several countries such as India, Thailand, and Britain.
Cons :
1-Unorganized, for example, in a hall you can find a surrealist painting and a portrait painting
2- There is no classification in the tickets, as some collectibles are for adults only
3- Museum not on the BTS route.
Pros:
1-Cheap ticket.
2-Friendly and helpful staff.
3-Many of the visitors are students of the College of Fine Arts or those who know art, and it is nice to talk to them about the paintings.
4-Taxi stops near the museum gate.
100% worth visit.Written 25 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a great place to escape from busy Bangkok. They offered a very educational exhibition but not too much information. The venom extraction was worth seeing, and it is recommended.Written 15 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Helmut SBangkok, Thailand2,007 contributionsMy second visit to Wat Pak Nam Phasi Charoen, an amazing temple. In July 2023 there were less tourist around but even this time on a Sunday it was not too crowded. I took the MRT to Bang Phai station, Exit 1, and then down the stairs or with the elevator, it takes about 15 minutes to reach the pedestrian bridge over the canal, and then to the grounds of the temple. There is the Meili Café near to the bridge, good espresso and brownies.
There is so much to see at this temple, of course the giant Buddha statue is the main object for pictures. From the pagoda which is behind the Buddha pictures of the area can be taken. In the pagoda there are several levels to climb up the stairs, definitely worthwhile to do.
Several foreign women walked around with very tight shorts and bustier, unfortunately the Thais are too shy to tell them that wearing such dress is very disrespectful.Written 31 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. In our view, this mall has interesting stores and we have always enjoyed coming here. The sports stores, clothing stores, etc, are interesting and less crowded. This place is a gem.Written 2 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- SurzenLondon, UK181 contributionsVery useful and recommended visit to this huge museum on Thai history starting approx 5,000 years ago - and with help from 2 very knowledgeable ladies we had a great tour in English which lasted well over 2 hours!
English tours are certainly available on Wednesday, from 09:30and they are free of charge as run by volunteers; entrance however was THB200 but was money well spent.
After all the walking, up and down stairs and between builduings there us a small family run Thai restaurant, extremely affordable and with good food (recommended their Pad Thai)
Enjoy!Written 7 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
