I came all the way from Brazil to train at Yokkao and was amazed not only with the training, but also with Neri from the staff who went well above and beyond the call of duty to help me find my way back to my hotel and to teach me how to use the Bangkok subway system since it was my first time in Bangkok. Nat was also a major player in this winning team and helped book the private training before I left Brazil. And, off course, @petchmankong for the perfect training session. Yokkao was customer service at its very best level. I was not disappointed after flying more than 16.000 km for a training session. Thank you, Yokkao team. Thanks for the rescue, Neri !

I went there once not expecting to enjoy myself. I have done real fishing so I thought this would be a poor imitation. But eating good Thai food and fighting 40 lb cat fish was actually good fun.. I recommend you go with friends and make a party of it. The key was to keep the fish from going under the pier. The bait for the fish were the size of baseballs.

I had a wonderful session with a young and skilled coach here. I was tired after a long journey, but the coach managed to motivate me to give everything. He showed me fine techniques, footwork and combinations. The session was also varied and included strength and fitness😊👍🏻

I had a great experience at the gym. The trainers are really good. It’s is definetly worth going to if your interested in Muay Thai or general conditioning.

A memorable experience, as a beginner, I highly recommend. You can go there without an appointment. Whether you speak Thai or English, everyone is very attentive. I was coached by Banana, whom I found very professional and encouraging.
I will come back if I go back to Thaïlande.

This is the BEST place to train Muay Thai in Bangkok. It's basically private lessons from industry veterans and professional fighters. We trained hard here and had a great workout. I learned a lot and fell in love with the sport. Excited to return and train this year - - คุณไบรอัน

I had class. In the beginning, you do about 3 sparring sessions around 3 minutes each with 3 minute breaks. Afterwards you do a group cardio session such as pushups, step aerobics and situps. So yeah, pretty tiring but fun and you get a social aspect as everybody seems happy in the class. Overall pretty good!

I came here since it was conveniently located close to my hotel.
The trainers are fun and light hearted. Although they don’t speak perfect English their knowledge and skill set is way beyond what you’d expect to have in a group setting.
The price for the work out is more than reasonable and they cater to everyone! You can be a first timer, weekend warrior or even a well seasoned fighter... the challenge is still there! The owner, Beer, is very approachable.
If you’re looking to build a sweat or get your fix in the realm of MuayThai , don’t hesitate to come through to Watchara Muaythai!

After training Muay Thai for a few years, I decided to make a trip to Thailand and improve my Muay Thai techniques. My current coach, Kru P Lek, suggested me to check out this gym. I absolutely loved this gym, the trainers there care about what they do, not many foreigners there, I clinched with their resident Thai fighters on a daily base. I was not fully aware of my improvements till I made my way back to my home gym. The newly built gym ( not the old one by Chinatown) is awesome, great accommodation, awesome food, reasonable price. If you are looking for real Muay Thai gym with talented trainers & training partners, do not miss this gym.

    Love these guys!

I chose Cheeks due to the location, but couldn't be happier with my choice. The coaches train you hard, but also make sure you have motivation (and energy!) for the next class. Looking forward to my next session!

Coming from Yokkao Muay Thai on Sukhumvit this was a relieve, temperature wise. Considering it was 41 degrees and Sukhumvit had no wind. Muay Thai Lab is very clean, open, and has a nice river breeze. Trainers are very friendly. The training is basic but exhausting none the less. Understand that the place went bankrupt, otherwise I would definitely go back !

I am in Dubai airport, waiting to go home, and reflecting on my two weeks experience at Sitsongpeenong Muay Thai gym in Bangkok.

In terms of accommodation, it was perfect, with proper much needs air conditioning. Room was kept clean, and everywhere was spotless.

We get two amazing meals a day.

The training is hard, be prepared to have a long skipping session initially and then to go all out for 4 mins, with 30 secs break, four rounds on pads and four rounds on the bag. The pad work was superb; it was technical, working on timing, distancing, how well I am guarding, how relaxed I am. They encouraged this beautiful flow in you. On which day by day, you see yourself improving.

After pad and bag work, there are callisthenics, punching with dumbbells, alternating kicks on the bag, and high repetition knees.

It is not for the light-hearted, be well prepared in fitness, flexibility and enduring training in the heat.

In the end, you will have improved immensely, and I am very excited to get back to my gym in the UK.

The people are lovely. I was so respected, they treated me nicely, with great care and understanding when I was struggling at times.

And, to see Sittichai Sitsongpeenong training is worth the journey. He is humble, friendly, looks fantastic in training and a real Muay Thai champion.

    Came an hour early.
Bought some equipment in the store.
Were told to warm up. Not in the empty training hall though. “Get out”.
Trainers are 16 year old boys playing up to the girls.
So if you have come for learning Muay Thai go somewhere else.
If you are a girl this may be a good deal.
