It didn’t disappoint , great view and great atmosphere , however drink prices are exorbitant so be prepared to take out a second mortgage. Whilst it’s free to enter , We paid over $200AUS for 4 drinks. It’s not a bar where the average tourist can drink all night. However there was no pressure from staff to drink or leave . As we were waiting for 30 minutes for a free spot, they kept on updating us and tanking for waiting, and they also offered a small drink. You’re eating and drinking next to skyscrapers as far as the eye can see. Next, the food and drink. Food is what would be expected, a tad pricey and smaller portions, but tasty nonetheless. Drinks were very nice and not as expensive as I thought they would be, given the location. Cocktails are about 340-390 baht (£7-8) and you can get a bucket of beer for 900 baht (£20). Food & drink is reasonable, and delicious, about same prices as a good hotel. There were singers, guitarists, trumpets, saxaphones, drums, etc, very professional. Atmosphere can be electrifying when artists are performing the music!! Starts at 18.30 hrs, finish at about midnight. The cover charge here was 500 TBH which included 2 complimentary drinks. DJ station has concept of multiple mini pubs at the same place. There were many performances going on as well which were pleasant to watch.
