Meroe Pyramids River Nile State
Absolutely amazing site, the setting makes it wonderful, drifting sand dunes around the pyramids, peaceful, makes you feel like an explorer.
The Meroe Pyramids, the entire Necropolis, and the surroundig sites exceeded all expectations.

At night you will see people relaxing on the grass by the street with a cup of tea/coffee - gossiping away with friends while enjoying the river view.
El Kurru Tombs Karima
The site was a revelation to be because it contains several tombs from different ages and you can see how the graves moved from mounds of stones towards pyramids as time progressed.
Wonderful paintings (the guide had a torch, taking your own as well would be good) and the whole site is worth visiting.

Gebel Barkal Karima
The view at the top is spectacular and worth visiting both at sunset and sunrise to see the differences.
The site also includes a set of late (Meroitic) pyramids, as well as a small museum that holds a couple of interesting reliefs but few other items.
Kerma's Archeological Site Kerma
Al Sabalouga (Sabaloka Gorge) Khartoum
The place was full of day trippers enjoying the sites and sounds of the river.
awesome views
Al Kabir Mosque Khartoum
Petrified Forest Merowe
The guide noted that some of the petrified wood had been 'removed', as it is quite a remote area you clearly cannot guard the site, but it would be a great shame if this site disappeared.
