From the beginning, Herman from the office was very communicative and helped design an itinerary perfect for us. Upon arrival, our guide Rodrik welcomed us at the airport and offered us refreshments as we then head out to our first destination. Our guide Rodrik was very friendly and made sure we were able to see a huge variety of wildlife. We saw the big 5 in 2 days and had no shortage of photo opportunities. He is very knowledgeable and shared lots of fun facts and history of the parks, wildlife, and local culture.

I embarked on an unforgettable journey with Dancing Simba Safaris from June 28th to July 3rd, 2024. My adventure spanned the diverse landscapes of Tarangire National Park, with its towering baobab trees and vast herds of elephants. The serene beauty of Lake Manyara offered a glimpse of playful baboons silhouetted against the setting sun, their chatter echoing through the trees. Long-necked giraffes stretched their elegant forms to feed on leaves high in the canopy. The awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, left me breathless. But it was the majestic Serengeti National Park that truly stole the show. Here, a seemingly endless sea of wild animals across the vast savanna, punctuated by the calls of gazelles and the watchful gaze of lions. The air vibrated with a symphony of bird calls.
With Dancing Simba's expert guides and comfortable accommodations, our diverse group from all corners of the globe (America, Africa - me from Ethiopia, Europe - Norway, Asia - China, and Australia) had an unforgettable safari experience. The shared thrill of encountering Tanzania's incredible wildlife fostered a sense of camaraderie that transcended cultural differences. Our safari jeep became a microcosm of the world, with six of us sharing stories and laughter. I, from Ethiopia, learned a lot from my fellows, while the thrill of spotting a pride of lions sparked lively discussions with our fellow travelers from Norway, America, and Australia.

A special thanks goes to Mr. David John, who ensured everything was perfectly organized, and to our incredible guide, Mr. Joseph. His knowledge and passion for Tanzanian wildlife made the experience truly unforgettable. He expertly explained the tour and the fascinating species of animals we encountered, bringing the wonders of the African savanna to life. This trip was more than just a good time; it was a transformative experience that deepened my appreciation for nature's wonders. From the vast plains teeming with life to the awe-inspiring heights of Kilimanjaro, where I challenged myself with a one-day hike to Mandara Hut, with a special thanks to my incredible guide who expertly paced me throughout the climb, Tanzania offered an unforgettable adventure.

Tanzania has cast its spell, and I know it won't be my last visit. Next time, I will be returning with my family for an unforgettable adventure. Together, we will:
    • Conquer the mighty Kilimanjaro, reaching the summit of Uhuru Peak.
    • Witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Great Migration.
    • Relax and soak up the beauty of Zanzibar's beaches.

We went on a 5-days budget safari with Omar as our guide. The trip was amazing, we saw big five and all the other animals that can be spotted in those parks. Hundreds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, around 20 lions with cubs, 3 cheetahs (one with cubs), a leopard, crocodiles, hyenas, serval, hundreds of hippos and flamingos and even 6 rhinos. Not mentioning many species of monkeys and birds. Omar is a great guide, he has many years of experience and extensive knowledge of all the wildlife. He gives lots of interesting information and answers all questions. He is also the best spotting wildlife, and approaches it in a respectful way. Our car had a pop up roof which allows to see wildlife in the best way, it was also spacious and comfortable for a group of six. Accommodation was comfortable and food was freshly prepared every day and delicious! Even in the middle of Serengeti we had a table cloth, ceramic plates and everything served in silverware (Whereas most other groups were eating sandwiches and packed lunchboxes). All in all it was an experience of a lifetime and I’d recommend it to everyone. I’ll be definitely coming back with Omar again.

Safari was an amazing experience. We had a driver and a guide with Spanish knowledge all the safari because my parents do not speak English. They were really helpful and friendly, giving us tips and always trying to find the best for us in the safari, looking for different/not common spots and going the extra mile. Furthermore our driver was an skilful mechanic and helped the other cars when they had mechanical problems. An amazing experience with the best guides.

I was very surprised by how much we were able to fit in in only three days! We saw 4 of the big 5, and some amazing sights, including a leopard napping in a tree, lions hunting a buffalo, and more! The camp grounds were comfortable and a lot of fun, and the food was great. If you have a tight window and want to do as much Safari as possible you should do this tour!

Last year we decided to make a trip of s lifetime with our family because of our 25 years wedding anniversary,
Unanimously we decided for Tanzania and a safari. And…we were not disappointed! Especially because of the incredible service and knowledge of our Guide Herry Temba. Not only did he bring us to the best spots to find our famius animals, we also learnt a lot from him about willdlife and the peoples of Tanzania. We shared the same humour, and had a great time!
Thanks to all the staff at Easy Travel for everything, the service wad soot on, the camps and all the food great!
Asante Sana from all of us!

We returned home last week from one of the most amazing family trips ever! Beyond our expectations: the locations, animals, local people and food/lodging. I was traveling with my wife, 2 teenage kids, plus my mother and her boyfriend, both in their 70's.

It was hard deciding on a Safari company but later settled on Gracepatt Ecotours, this trip was not prompted by a friend’s recommendation, but the idea ‘we don’t know anyone who has been on Safari’. I enjoyed communication with Grace his responses felt like more than work. Our itinerary was tailored and included: Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater & Zanzibar.

We could not be more pleased with our Kenyan guide/driver: Simon. He was an amazing personality to spend time with and had incredible local knowledge. It's not just what he says, but all that you see Simon doing that adds to your trip: attentive driving, scanning the horizon for animals, talking on the radio and in-person with other guides, help with lost luggage, regularly checking in on his clients well being.

The next section of our trip in Tanzania was great, but not as good as Kenya. Tanzania was beautiful, but crowded, we were shocked how many Land Cruisers would be gathered around a few animals. Its was a great idea booking this Safari with Gracepatt Ecotours Kenya. We will definetly come back one day

Took this trip with my family and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Godlisten, and Chief, Matthew did a great job. Godlisten is knowledgeable and knows exactly where to go in the Parks. Matthew cooked great meals throughout the trip. Our accommodations actually exceeded expectations for the "Economy Safari" we stayed in a combination of cabins & tents. Wildlife sightings were almost constant at all the parks. We were with another family and it enhanced the experience. If you opt for the Waterfall tour, I'd recommend that you are in reasonable physical condition. It is about an hour hike each way with fairly steep inclines. The tour company director, Lucas, took the time to meet us at the end of the trip to ensure we were satisfied,

please consider this my inadequate attempt.

    Introduction and Gilbert

My family and I (my wife, my parents, my brother, and my sister-in-law) opted for the nine-day luxury safari package. This was our first safari and first visit to Tanzania. Needless to say, I was a bit anxious. I did not truly know what to expect. However, with Lion King Adventures, this anxiety was seriously misplaced. The staff at Lion King Adventures are supremely professional, responsive, and courteous—especially our wonderful guide, Gilbert. I cannot say enough good things about Gilbert; he was kind, smart, attentive, witty, and just an overall joy to be around. His knowledge of the flora, fauna, and landscape is unparalleled. He is also an excellent driver and keen spotter—you will not miss any animals with Gilbert at the helm. This is all to say that, in my humble opinion, Gilbert is the best. No contest.

    Simba

Our intrepid vehicle, a khaki and green Toyota Land Cruiser named Simba, was clean, comfortable, and safe. The top of the vehicle can be opened and raised to allow for a 360-degree view. This is the best way to safari—with the top down, a cool wind in your face, and binoculars at the ready. Simba came with a stocked and operating fridge, plenty of cupholders, and power outlets. The seats were comfortable and there was plenty of room to stand. The vehicle is very important because you will be spending most of your safari in it—your home away from home. It is apparent that Lion King Adventures takes diligent care of their vehicles.

    The Accommodations

Every place we stayed, from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater, was very nice. Every accommodation was clean and safe. The staff are friendly and professional. Although you will not spend that much time there, you will be tired after a long day of traveling and sightseeing and will need a good place to lay your head at night. You will also need a spot to sip your gin and tonic, dawa, or Pearly Bay wine while watching the sunset over the Serengeti. A Serengeti sunset is quite something to behold and a perfect way to relax after a drive. I honestly wished we had more time to stay at these amazing places.

    The Food

The food is wonderful. Each morning, we would begin our day with breakfast at our accommodation. This usually consisted of a breakfast buffet—eggs, sausage, cereal, fruit, bread, pastries, tea, and coffee. Lunch was usually at 1:00 pm or 2:00 pm on the road at a picnic spot in the park. Lunch usually consisted of rice, protein, vegetables, Pearly Bay wine, and fruit. It was delicious. Gilbert also had snacks in Simba for us—popcorn and peanuts. There were also cold drinks (cokes, sprites, water, and beer) in Simba’s fridge as well. Dinner was served at the accommodations—usually family style with a salad or soup to start and dessert to finish. All the food was delicious. You will not go hungry.

    The Safari Itself

I do not want to spoil anything, but I was floored by the variety and number of animals we saw. I did not think we would see so much or so many. Riding in Simba with Gilbert at the wheel was the perfect way to safari.

    Conclusion

I only touched on a few of the highlights of our safari. Lion King Adventures is a wonderful operator, and we had the best time with them. If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, do not hesitate, book with Lion King Adventures. Make sure to ask for Gilbert, the best guide out there.
