Khadija'a Kuzina Essaouira
Khadija and her husband Hussein were charming hosts She covered a lot of ground in the class and was very organized Food was beautifully presented and delicious
Me and my friends had the opportunity to learn about Moroccan food, cook it, eat it and feel the warmth in Khadija's and Hussein's generous home.
Jamal and Ellen had sent us a list of things to prepare us for our time in Morocco such as appropriate dress, typical food, language, and other cultural tid bits about the country.
Great food tour!
We all had a fabulous time, Youssef once again, was informative, friendly and knowledgeable host and we got to try a wonderful variety of sweet and savory food.
It had everything you wanted from the perfect food tour - local food joints, adventurous food for the more daring participants (sheep's head?), an introduction to Moroccan culture and an incredible guide, Youssef.
A Feel Good Visit on every level - great food, great people and a great sense of having contributed to a worthwhile cause - for a cup of coffee and a quick visit, for a quick grab of a bag of super pastries, for a...
... trip to Morocco! Amal is also a great place to have lunch even without doing the cooking class, so I highly recommend paying a visit to support this organization and enjoy some seriously good Moroccan food.

Souk Cuisine Marrakech
The food cooked was delicious and Gemma and the Moroccan women were fantastic, but for me the best thing about Souk Cuisine is the chance to shop in the markets of the souk amongst the locals.
After buying all necessary ingredients on the market, you will be welcomed into the home of a bunch of lovely Moroccan women who teach you how to make traditional Moroccan food such as Tajine, salads, dips, pastry...

While the food cooks you have a tour of the garden and a brief walk around the village.
The food we made was incredible and had lunch there eating what we had made.
We then went to the market to buy ingredients and there Souad begin our lesson on Moroccan culture and cuisine while taking us to several food stalls in the market and allowing us to sample a few foods along the way.
The food is typically Moroccan home-cooking, but Souad encouraged us to use alternatives back home to make it practical.
We did this class towards the end of our 8 nights in Morocco, so it was fun being able to see how some of this incredible food we have been eating the past several days is made.
The restaurant had an intimate, romantic atmosphere and served excellent Moroccan food.
Latifa is a kind, experienced and knowledgeable guide of both the culture of Morocco and of course the food.
