I went with my family group who included island residents. They were the ones who said "You have got to go to Little French Key", so we went. We had a wonderful lunch, drinks, swimming. I liked to watch some of the more adventurous customers swing off the platform into the water. I got a kayak and took my grandchildren on a ride. We all had a good time. Truly something for everyone there.

Always come back! Heat, hot! Gorgeous landscape. Watching the sun bake... Enjoy the breeze. Caught the island bug.

We spend an afternoon at this park and it was fabulous. We had a guide named Katrina who was so friendly, fun, and knowledgeable and made our visit very special. It was fun learning about Roatan's history and people as well as seeing and learning about local flora and fauna. The visits with the macaws and monkeys was truly magical. I had a mama monkey come down with her baby and the baby left moma's back to snuggle with me which I am told rarely happens and it was pure magic and joy for me! Great place to visit!

We had a fabulous time on this private island. If you like to swim, snorkel or relax, this is the place for you.

    Good to know:
-Bring a ton of sunscreen! I think we went through a whole bottle for a family of 3.
-Bring cash or a credit card. They have food and drinks to buy. You can also rent a locker, floats and snorkel gear.
-If you have your own snorkel gear, then bring it. There is a beautiful coral reef at the end of the pier that you can snorkel off of. There is a lifeguard on duty.
-Bring an underwater camera to take pictures of beautiful fish.
-The port is clean with some shops. We felt completely safe.
    -Bathrooms are clean and available.
-Save your money and skip the chair lift rental. It's a short walk to the beach.
-There are several chairs in the shade. If you find one, you won't have to rent a chair cover.

One of the better cruise tours I’ve done. Place is not crowded, very spacious. Staff is very nice and they work hard to keep the place clean.

Less touristy and busy than other beaches. Not super big and the water is a little cloudier for snorkeling. Some nice souvenir shops nearby (road is busy and narrow, so it's a little stressful with younger kids). There is a fun boat to jump off with a rock wall...we asked our water taxi to stop by it rather than swim all the way out there because there are a lot of boats coming and going.

I am not an adventurer and I don't remember the names of plants 10 minutes after you tell me, but I LOVED this tour of the Carambola gardens and thoroughly enjoyed hiking the jungle trail up to the peak and back. The gardens are so natural-looking, the variety of plants is staggering and the atmosphere is therapeutic. It's warm, humid, quiet, relaxing and I could have spent all day hanging out here. The tour took only about 20 minutes and we learned so much about the local vegetation. The hike took another 30 minutes. The hike is along a steep mountain trail which zig-zags along to the top of a mountain peak. At the peak is a view of Anthony's Key Resort. It's a very pretty view from up there of the island and reef. The hike wasn't too much for me and I'm 50 years old and not in top shape. But, anyone with knee or cardio-vascular issues likely wouldn't care much for the trail up the mountain. But the gardens at the base of the mountain are suitable for almost anyone.

Our family of 5 did the dolphin encounter and snorkel. We had a great time and really enjoyed learning about and engaging with the dolphins. What a unique experience different than those we’ve had in dolphin tanks at other islands.

Staff was super friendly and it was fun to get up close to the animals. Listen to the staff though - another person had their sunglasses stolen by a spider monkey because they got too close (they were warned).

This was an incredible tour of the monkeys and sloths, as well as the Guinea pigs, parrots, and macaw. If you can choose your tour guide, ask for “Tex” (that’s his given name). He gave us such a special tour. I was able to hold each of the animals and spend as much time as I wanted. I connected immediately with Turbo the sloth and Bonnie the parrot. The macaw was so powerful yet gentle with me. I was alittle reticent to go into the monkey area so Tex stepped in ahead of me. I am so glad I want in. They were so playful and fun. Thanks to Phil Swan, Villas de Cisnes, for recommending.

We came to West End to do some shopping and relax one afternoon after diving. We got local ice cream, some souvenirs, and a great day to sit on the beach that was very busy. There are some cool businesses to visit as well.

Mayan Princess was a nice place with one main draw back, the buffet is not very good, baerly ok, you can get by but now that good. We ate dinner out 5 of 7 nights due to it not being very good. Drinks and staff are great, no lines for drinks. Pool always had places to sit.
Beach was the best beach we have ever been at, no rocks, no seaweed, beautiful

Mayan divers was also very good, took care of and set up equipment every day, sites are fairly close, 15, 20 minutes...

way better place to stay than the more pricey spot down the beach.

Nice and spicey and hangover hut best places to eat, other places are all the same. Thirsty turtle always had a lively feel with music etc. Hangover hut had a nice band also.
