Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The wife and I visited Thirteenth Colony Distillery a week or so ago and had a very nice time. We enjoyed the tour and learning about their process and of course sampling their products. Megan was very friendly and genuine, impressed with their small staff and facility. Still would like some Double Oaked please (hint hint). Would definitely recommend.

We intended to stay in Americus at the Historic Best Western Hotel to do a few hours of sight seeing around the main streets and were pleasantly surprised to find a local play happening that weekend at the Historic Rylander Theater. We went to an evening performance of Tuck Everlasting. It was mostly comprised of local middle school and high school, and college students. We enjoyed seeing all the local families supporting their youth. It was a beautiful historic theater and we were glad we had the change to experience it.

We had the opportunity to stop by their tasting room adjacent to the Windsor Hotel in downtown Americus . It was 80 ish outside and the Peach slushee was excellent. I also tasted their 7 muscadine wines and bought a bottle of their Sweet Southern Peach for later. The attendant was very friendly and knowledgeable about their wines.

Just another piece of history about Lindbergh that a lot of people do not know. You really have to respect a guy who puts his life’s savings on a bet on himself with the goal of buying a plane and then learning to fly it. You can not be inspired by this piece of artwork and the brief display of a snapshot of his life.

The Koinonia Farm began as an experiment in community based on the teachings of Jesus and the early church. How this experiment clashed with modern and culturally entrenched society is a fascinating look into the Southern culture.

A wonderful place to experience! Views, horses, cats and open space! We spent a night in our RV at Southern Dreams Ranch and it was wonderful. The area for the motorhome was very level and electricity was available for a small price.

We got to watch Kristi do some training, relax and enjoy the view plus pet the horses and cats! We also did a trail ride that was so relaxing and enjoyable.

Kristi and Greg were very accommodating, informative and gracious.

Back again for our annual trip. Went 1/14/22, Wes was our guide. We stacked up the biggest pile of pork ever! They focus on safety and making sure all the hunters are comfortable with each situation. Highly recommend Pig Problem if you are in south Georgia and are looking for an exciting, memorable hunting experience.

When you're staying at the Windsor hotel, you should ask the staff about the ghost tour. You cannot book this tour online and it's available only if the staff have time. We added the $12 cost per person to our hotel tab. We were the only ones on our tour and it was fascinating to get a peek at rooms that aren't open to the public. The staff person was very knowledgeable about the hotel's history, architecture and furniture. She showed us the bridal suite, which Al Capone was rumored to have slept in as well as the secret staircase that servants used. There were other rooms she showed as us as well. There's not many ghosts to talk about, but the kitchen staff have plenty of stories to tell. This hotel is unique and I'm glad we got to hear so much of its history on this tour. Definitely ask about it when you make reservations!
