Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- oleg_ruau79Perth, Australia21 contributionsThe Fremantle Boat Show on 12.03.2023 was an amazing experience. With over 100 exhibitors showcasing their boats, accessories and services, visitors had a chance to discover the latest trends in the boating industry. The show offered something for everyone, from novice boaters to experienced sailors. The highlight of the event was the on-water displays, featuring a range of boats from luxury yachts to fishing vessels. The atmosphere was electric with live music, food trucks and plenty of activities for kids. It was a great day out for families and friends alike, and definitely worth attending next year. The Fremantle Boat Show is a must-visit for anyone interested in boating or looking to purchase a new vessel.Written 14 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TWal1Canberra, Australia2,938 contributionsThe lighthouse is an easy walk from the village and wharf area, and is worth a look. The coastal scenery is pretty and the views are good. Plenty of opportunities to see Quokkas too.Written 21 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Schlepper1939Brisbane Region, Australia888 contributionsGenerally our experience was very good, but it could have got off to a disastrous start. We were told we would be picked up from our hotel, but we were not told that it was our responsibility to watch for the bus as no one comes looking for you in the foyer. Fortunately, hotel staff realised what had happened after the bus had left and organised a taxi for us.
A great ride down the Swan River, through Fremantle Harbour and across to the island. Comfortable seating and food and drinks provided as part of our package.
We linked up for a coach tour of the island, which was enjoyable and informative.
Not the cheapest way to get to the island, but convenient if you are staying in the CBD and do not have a car with you.Written 10 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. At 15,000ft, you have amazing air-time and can appreciate all the fantastic views as well as experiencing the exhilarating rush of jumping out a plane and careering towards a stunning island. This was my partner's first time - needless to say, he can't wait to do it again! Many thanks to the team of excellent instructors and flight crew. An efficient and professional outfit all round. Highly recommend it :)Written 6 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- andrewdicks2024Perth, Australia1 contributionWe are a family who have been sailing for many years, but do not often get the opportunity to sail as a family together. This was a wonderful experience and we all really enjoyed the experience.Written 3 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ash1 contributionWhat a great night!! Despite being from Perth, we loved playing tourists in Freo and our host Kerin was absolutely lovely! Eating and drinking at gorgeous places we wouldn’t otherwise have gone to, a food tour is definitely the way to go! Thanks Kerin!!Written 22 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
