Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I wore no extra clothes, everybody dressed up using blankets, sweaters etc. For me it was a pleasant chang in temperature. Very humid down there and expect to go to a wonderland.Written 3 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Neil KLiverpool, UK829,468 contributionsAfter visiting Heroes Square we decided to explore the park area and passed this ice rink, one of the largest in Europe, it was just getting set up for the festive period but even the area we saw iced over was huge ,people working on the rink to prepare it ,we grabbed a mulled wine to warm up and watched work progress on the ice rink for a few minute, bet it'll look amazing when it's set up and illuminated, well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Budapest and easy to locate by Heroes Square.Written 29 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alex H6 contributionsWell this was one of the best experiences of my life with amazing people in a beautiful city.. Super Earlybird tickets being purchased for next year. Can't wait to go back for soooo many reasons. Fantastic crowd and atmosphere, amazing AMAZING diverse acts ,21 hours of music a day if you include the sound checks at 8am 🤣, everything on your doorstep, unbelievable cleanliness and facilities, beautiful island, fantastic friendly staff and all this for SIX WHOLE DAYS!!.
We had a pre pitched tent in one of the private campsites AND a cheap hotel in the city which was a bargain.. WELL WORTH having both and wouldn't change any of it. Campsite was awesome .. especially the staff at the bar there that was open ALL the time. I think you really need to camp there to get the full experience. Popped back to the hotel for various reasons but only stayed there the night before the festival and the last night of the festival .
It's an amazing city and well worth making time to experience it

Great atmosphere, cool design, amazing stories, very nice staff (thanks Ren for your help!) and a central location in Budapest to have a drink before/after. Cannot wait to try more of their rooms!Written 6 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Richard TPortsmouth, UK12 contributionsThey were friendly and professional and as an ex soldier I couldn’t fault their range safety.
Got to fire my old weapons from years ago as well as a Barret .50 Cal sniper rifle which has always been on my bucket list as they came out after I left. A must for the big boysWritten 2 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Никита К1 contributionHighly recommending House of fear by Mystique room 2, it’s easily one of the best escape rooms in Budapest.
It is designed with thorough care for horror and has the references to genre’s brilliant representatives like Hereditary, Evil dead and Ritual. If you ever wished to experience the vibe of those films featuring exploration of a cursed isolated hut in the woods, accompanied by eerie sounds effects, a few jump scares and intriguingly dark puzzles with solid logic - this is the right choice.
We were 5 people, it felt about right in terms of space and difficulty for such a group. Staff’s hints were top notch.
Mystique 2 proves time and time again to be a local leader of escape rooms. Thank you for creating rooms with passion and attention to details.Written 11 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I recently attended a Sparty event and, overall, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was fantastic, and everyone seemed to be having a great time enjoying the unique combination of a spa and party.
However, my experience was significantly marred by a disturbing incident involving security staff. During the event, I witnessed a man dancing near the stairs when a security camera indicated for him to come over. The man complied, but suddenly, an aggressive security guard rushed at him from behind. The guard violently hit the man, pulled his head down to the water, and punched him hard in the face. It was a shocking and unprovoked act of aggression. The poor guy didn’t seem to have done anything wrong.
Such behavior from security personnel is unacceptable and cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable event. I hope the management addresses this issue seriously to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests in the future.Written 16 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MarkieZ Y6 contributionsVery cool thing to do when in Budapest and you like, as we do, escaping.
We have chosen for E-Exit because on Dutch escaperoom forum Secret Subway was rated as the best escaperoom of Hungary. In the afternoon we firstly played Santa Muerte. Death was never so much fun. Bit older room, but fun to play nevertheless. Probably not the one ranking high on Dutch lists, but funny puzzles with a suprising end. Secret Subway is a room of another level. Design and techniques of the room are matching up to top rooms. Light plays a nice factor in this room. Teamwork is needed. Do not want to go to fast, think. Puzzles demand concentration. Some very suprising elements in this room and funny ending. Really cool room that can match itself with the better rooms in benelux. Hosts were friendly and nice. My only tip for this room would be that sound could be more immersive, that would even more up the experience of this room.Written 22 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
